  1. Unless you know a "friendly" MOT centre you will need at least 1 cat in
  2. Sorry Pete, mine is in pieces. I'll hopefully be getting it all back together tomorrow.
  3. Greg, The top air feed will not be a staightforward fit with your radiator. I would check to see if you can get one in there before you junk your current setup.
  4. Mine has gone over £1000 for the first time:thumbdown: What really winds me up is the £100 subsidy to the bus company. Its a private company FFS:complain: and i've not been on a bus for over 10 years:protest:
  5. MOT doesn't check the main beam. Best bet would be to post some before and after pics of the lights against a wall or garage door

    Blue Gel

Sorry, that was my last piece. I'm sure someone else will have a bit.
  7. MK iii's where great cars, I had one for a few years and loved it. Dont see many about on the roads now so its a shame to see another one gone.
  8. I have got enough dye left to do another one, Greg.
  9. I've just done mine. Remove the seats, plastic sill trims and lower seatbelt mounting bolts and the bottom of the back seat. I found it easier to remove the rear bit of the centre console as well. Take out any of the push fit locating pegs that are still there and just pull the carpet out and back. Having an aerotop is an advantage at this stage:D Took about 30 mins to get the seats out, then 4 hrs cleaning the carpet and another couple of hours to dye it. I'm well impressed with the results, pics to follow as i'm doing some wiring jobs in the footwells while the carpet is out

    Front Mats

Get some ebay ones for about £25. Subradibbs mats are in a different league for quality but the ebay ones fit ok and are not bad for the money.
  11. I've been happy with them up to now, but my renewal is in 6 weeks so i'll be interested to see what happens then. How long are you planning to keep the survey open for?
  12. I've had quite a productive day. I finished dying my carpet black, then fixed the recline on the passenger seat and i've got half way through installing smartwindows on the clifford. Going to bed for an hour now though as i've got to be in work at 20:00
  13. Not tried them, but if you get some, post a review on here, those look like a good idea to me.

    Blue Gel

PM me your address and i'll put some in the post for you.
  15. Front is ok although i run a 245/40/18 tyre. A 265 rear is too narrow for a 10.5" rim IMHO, but if you put a +35ET rear on, you will have clearance issues with a 275 or 285 tyre
  16. Cig lighter bulb is powered seperatly off the dash light circuit. Toyota part number is 84999-10250. Best bet for your fog light is just to swap the switch for a new one, although given the state of the rest of your wiring, its possibly a bad connection on the back.
  17. There is also a small fused link on the back of the lighter itself which might have gone.
  18. I used to have mine in the 1/4 windows, but took them out cos they looked sh1t IMHO. Now if we could get some proper laser cut ones i'd put one in.
  19. IMHO most trucks will attempt to move over, or slow down, for another truck, but will not give way to cars because the car will either floor it leaving the truck driver sitting in the middle lane like an idiot, or drive along at exactly the same speed as a truck alongside the back wheel so the truck can't get back in.
  20. Thays not true, it means instead of trucks having the length of the sliproad to accelerate to 45 - 50mph, they have about 10 yards and struggle to manage 10mph, so the whole motorway has to slow down.
  21. Thought i'd be fighting folk off for this:D You lot must like the cold:p
  22. It is possible for the catalyst itself to come loose from its mountings inside the pipe, or start to break up, and rattle inside its box. Hard to say for sure without hearing it, but its unlikly to be a joint unless the exhaust is blowing as well.
  23. Make a metal bracket that fits inside the top pod and bond it to the pillar with epoxy so it lines up with the lower of the two M6 threaded holes on the A post (about 1/2 way up) I've sold mine now, but SUPRASUZUKI may have a pic of it.
  24. The interior lights are fused under the bonnet 5amp ( i think) listed as "Dome" on the fusebox lid.
  25. Try http://www.interparcel.com £8.99+vat for a 5 kg parcel and they collect it from your door
