  1. Neither of which are in the first cat/decat pipe Yes. No
  2. Manifold flange is a different shape.
  3. Looks like a weeping rear crank seal to me. Worth getting fixed on a manual as it might contaminate the clutch.
  4. Guy I spoke to was very good and knowledgable and they gave me a good quote. Couldn't offer agreed value though so I stayed with sky.
  5. Happy birthday mate:d You old git. Hows the headache now:p
  6. Its the bit that the bottom rad hose is attached to. No not the rad, the other end of the hose.... ...nearest the engine:p
  7. Happy Birthday mate, and many thanks for the BBQ yesterday even though i got in trouble with the missus for being out late:rolleyes:
  8. Petes car is a facelift, Greg, pop round and nick his:innocent: Might be best to get the bus though, its a long way for your car:rlol: Seriously though, Just get some new facelift reflectors from Mr T and screw them on, thats all i've got on mine
  9. Dont have any pics, but its a simple job, drain coolant and rempve bottom rad hose, then undo the 2 bolts that hold the thermostat housing in place. Take out the old thermostat and put the TRD one in, making sure you fit it the right way round. Then put it all back together and refil with coolant. Its a much easier job if you remove the alternator first as well.

    Samco pipe?

If its a standard size pipe, demon tweeks do a good range of samco stuff, otherwise try http://www.viper-performance.co.uk as they do lots of custom sizes
  11. Glass headlights will bolt straight on, but the bulbs are slightly different so your HIDs may not go straight in. I think Nic posted a comparison between J-spec and uk bulbs.

    insurance!

What type of alarm is it. Clifford dealers can check the alarm and issue a thatcham cert for a small fee, not sure about other makes.
  14. Nice pics there Pete, and nice to meet a few new faces too. Me, Burna and Steve managed to make it until about 10:30 before Jo and Ann got sick of us talking about cars:)
  15. All those can be replaced by standard M6 nuts/bolts/washers from B&Q
  16. If you want to leave a bit earlier and call in at mine on the way, feel free, its probably easier to do it here than try to sort it out in a pub car park.
  17. My dash has been on and off so many times, once more won't hurt. I'll throw some tools/wire in the car with me.
  18. This is a pic just after I finished it - i was still waiting for my oil pressure gauge at the time. It was a custom one off build based on a modified stock pillar. When I get chance, i have the bits to make another one to use as a mould for fibreglass copies:)
  19. Its gone from ebay. Have you sold it, or are you keeping it
  20. Definatly need to paint the plug cover blue as well i think. Then go out and drive it for a bit. You'll soon change your mind about selling it. Life is too short to care about things like overdrafts.
  21. My window never fell out with 2 x 1200w, but it made me feel very ill.
  22. My local dealer also does a good discount on OEM parts [thread=59217]LINKY HERE[/thread], but its good to see another main dealer offering a discount to owners. I think it depends much more on the dealer/parts manager than Toyota GB themselves how we are treated at main dealers. The reason that some dealers dont like imports is they have to pay for the parts ordered from Toyota GB. If it then turns out to be the wrong bit, they are stuck with it on their shelves. Its probably better to get the part number off the EPC or ask on here than just turning up and expecting the dealer to find the part number himself.
