  1. I wondered where you guys went:p. I blasted past that red van right outside pod, then never saw you again. There was quite a lot of traffic on the motorway, but me and an R34 had a good run:innocent: back to birmingham.
  2. The thing with JDP is that it will always be seen to be linked with turbofit. Perhaps Les did himself no favours by taking on ex turbofit employees and by blowing up a car that looked remarkably like the dayglo yellow ex turbofit supra, albeit with JDP stuck on the side, at pod on saturday. I have no proof, so i will not say, but i have it on good authority what went wrong with that and it does not fill me with confidence about their abilities. If JDP want our business, then proving themselves with their work will be a much better advert than sueing the club:taped:
  3. I would guess that the alu box is a high power 2ohm resistor, judging by what is written on it and the heat resistant wires.
  4. There is a hardboard panel on the back of the seats that is held on with a couple of screws. Why dont you just swap the carpet panel over from your facelift seats to the other ones and keep your existing carpet.
  5. I have one, i'll try and get some pics tomorrow and find out how much shipping costs. £50 + p & p if you're interested.
  6. one of the hoses comes in 2 pieces. And can be nearly £100, i'll see if i can find my reciept.
  7. For a TT, they come in 3 parts, 87209-14810 87245-1B300 87209-14800 Make sure you are sitting down when they give you the price, its not far off £100 for the 3.
  8. Any colour you like except for blue........ cos then i'd accuse you of copying:p
  9. A labour MP was on the radio 4 news tonight suggesting that in order to light a cigarette, you needed to take both hands off the wheel - 1 to hold the cigarette and the other to hold the lighter I assume crap never stops coming out of a labour mp's mouth for long enough to put a fag in it:rolleyes:
  10. Not the same if he doesn't slide across the bonnet in a dukes of hazzard stylee
  11. But for a more accurate explanation, all the flaps inside the heater box that control temperature and air distribution have little foam pads on them to make a seal when they are closed. This foam is prone to disintegrating and blowing out the vents. You will also find that you get "some" air coming out of all the vents, irrespective of where the distribution buttons are set at. It is possible to strip down the heater box and make new foam pads, but its a nightmare job and you'll have to source and make the foam yourself as toyota dont sell it by itself. It will stop in a week or two when all the foam is gone.
  12. I've got them front and rear. They are very good speakers for the price as long as you get them from his ebay shop rather than his website.
  13. Anyone who wants ann summers gear, send me a pm as my wife is a rep and gets it at 20% off list price.
  14. I'm camping with the guys from tbdevelopments:). Have a look at http://www.tbdevelopments.com/forum and theres a big japshow section. Its mainly mr2 and celica guys, but there's a few supras and other jap cars on there so anyone is welcome to join up . We're having a big bbq and i'm supplying the food - same stuff as i got for rotorstock
  15. I'm going over on Saturday morning and camping with the tbdev guys. Got a big bbq on the go:D
  16. That was me Forgot to mention it when i saw you, but next time you go to Westlands, dont forget to ask for the mkiv owners club discount:cool:
  17. Would be interested to find out if they can re-chrome the inside of headlights, and how much
  18. The best way to get rid of those spring loaded 3 prong ones is dynamite, or semtex or some kind of termonuclear warhead. Hateful things. Throw them all in the bin and replace with mikalor clamps
  19. Check your aux belt tensioner first, if thats ok i'd say your aircon compressor is knackered
  20. If there is very bad snow then i'll have to use the wifes car, but other than that, it gets used every day. Ordinary cars are just too... ordinary i guess... after the supe
  21. If you put a red led in without some kind of reflector, you'll just end up with purple numbers. It took me hours to get mine right, and involved cutting away some of the clear plastic behind the rev counter and building an enclosure to mount a single red led, just to illuminate the redline section.
