I've watched Burna take this from an idea in the pub to a fitted and working product, and the thought and development that has gone into it is truly impressive. Its a really clever and well executed product that brings the auto box right up to date

Brilliant JAE again, probably my favorite event of the year and this years was no different, really enjoyed catching up with some familiar faces and meeting some new ones. Big thanks to Al and Darren for organising and setup, and also to all the other chefs and helpers (Sorry about the pan Rosie, it was suggested that we keep the leftover chilli for saturday lunch, and by then I'd forgotten it was there:imsorry:) I agree that another table, and possibly moving the hot water into the kitchen would be a good idea. I actually enjoyed cooking on Friday and am happy to volunteer again next year. Already looking forward to returning as reigning iko and tug of war champions at next years JAE :trophy: and I will kick ass in the endurance next year no matter how bad the refs try to fix it.

This is becoming quite a common problem on older ECUs. I did the ecu on my hilux surf, and i have also done one on a 1JZ ECU, and it seems inevitable that it will become more common on 2JZ ECUs as they get older. I have also seen videos on youtube of people replacing electrolytic capaciotors on old computers and hifis for the same reason. The problem is the parts are pennies to buy and it doesn't take long to do, so the actual cost to repair would only be a few pounds, but as Chris said, the cost of offering any sort of warranty would be prohibitive. might be worth asking a mate who knows how to solder to swap all the capacitors on the board.

Some say it took the German police 2 whole seconds to crack that code and the real reason he never got any european speeding tickets is cos his car is too feckin slow.
