Final updates for Japshow Finale this weekend. We will have to see what Pod have in place for camping on Saturday night due to the recent rain. I'll be there on Saturday morning. Convoy on Sunday leaves from Tesco Wellingborough, NN8 2EF at 0800 on Sunday to Pod and the club stand

Entry tickets have been sent out by email to everyone. Stand passes to follow. Looking forwards to seeing you all there.
-
As long as we get enough tickets sold, the tickets and stand passes will all be posted to me, and I'll distribute them closer to the show.

I'm putting together a club stand for Japshow Finale at Santa Pod on Sunday 6th October 2024. There will be 2 ticket options in the club shop: 1. Sunday 6th only entry £30.00 per person, including show entry and club stand pass 2. Weekend entry £40.00 per person, including Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th entry, Saturday night camping and club stand pass on Sunday. I'll do a Sunday morning convoy into the show from Tesco Wellingborough. There's RWYB on Saturday and Sunday for anyone interested. Please buy your tickets from the club shop, not directly from Pod otherwise we won't get the stand passes. Tickets now live in the club shop: https://www.mkivsupra.net/store/category/5-japshow-finale-2024/ https://japshowfinale.co.uk/index.php

It's a noise filter for the antenna built into the rear screen I think. http://japan-parts.eu/toyota/jp/1994/supra/jza80-ajpzz/4_291130_003_/electrical/8601_radio-receiver-amplifier-condenser/2#86011A

There are two easy ways to ruin an aerotop, 1; fit a massive horsepower laggy turbo 2; fit a manual gearbox. Aeros (with the roof off) are for putting in D and driving round enjoying the sunshine, they are not for trackdays or blasting round b roads:cool:

As everyone has said, they are hard to value because they almost never come up for sale. Since you obviously need one though I would start with a figure of £600 - £700 for a mint one and then work back from that with a quote from a bodyshop to get the blue one fixed. New bolts and seals are still (until recently at least) available from toyota and arent that expensive. eta. As long as the frame is sound there is no reason a good panel beater couldnt fabricate a new skin for yours

Had one a couple of years ago, 3.0 diesel auto. Good fun car and probably the best stock engine choice although there are some out there with a lexus v8 They are very nice and relaxing to drive, comfortable with a very car like driving position, but not at all quick. Check the chassis number on the body and chassis as they can be swapped easily. Watch out for rust, make sure the 4wd engages and disengages smoothly - its vacuum/ electric actuators on the front diff and transfer case and can stick. Make sure the tailgate glass opens from the switch and key. Havent looked for a while but the uk forum was a bit dead but did have some useful info on. The uk facebook was dominated by a couple of arseholes who spent all day slagging off every truck as worthless junk apart from their own. The aussie forums were much better, especially if you were a fan of crocodile dundee I enjoyed mine but they are a bit old now, I'd still have another if I could find a good one.

I can come, but I'll be on the bike, not the supra if thats ok

I have always used TRD personally, but I absolutely would not use k&n, there have been many stories of them splitting around the hex and leaking oil on the bike forums.

national event JAE or not to JAE, that is the question!
TrickTT replied to Al Massey's topic in National Events
I like pod and club presence has been terrible there for the last few years, so it would be nice to have a good club stand and camping there for a change. Not sure we if we need big marquee, as there is more facilities at pod anyway although it would be nice to set up the kitchen tent for breakfast and bbq. -
I'm in. Hotel looks nice on the website and there are some great roads around there for a nice sensible sunday drive back :innocent: Would have to see what was on the buffet menu to know for sure, but if its a decent hot buffet I would prefer that. Does the price include access to the pool and gym as well?

There is a guy on youtube that cleans up old computer cases using something called retrobrite, basically a peroxide soloution and uv light. Look for the 8 bit guy. Might be worth a try on the fan

Uk spec has a few features not available on other models, but in terms of production numbers, that doesnt make them rare. There was several versions produced in much smaller numbers, from memory, a 6 speed na facelift is the rarest.
