  1. Got my supra home from the garage with the first round of parts fitted. All i can say is WOW!! can't wait for the road's to dry up so i can get a proper stage in her!! Here's the low down!! ------------------------------------------- Fluidyne Aluminum Radiator Veilside Teardrop Exhaust Chris Wilson Decat X2 Pipes RPS Street Max Clutch RPS Cyn-R-G Flywheel HKS Hypermax II Goodridge Break lines Welbro pump new plugs/ filters/ oil change/ Timing belt -------------------------------------------- The Veilside teardrop! Hmm, really did surprise me thoe! I though it was going to be louder, but instead it has a very nice purr and when it’s on note it sounds absolutely the dogs balls. The chris wilson decat pipes where top's fitting well with no major hassel. The RPS Street Max Clutch is a treat to my left foot. The Clutch gives a smooth and positive feel and the engagement is short and bits very well. Complimented with the RPS Cyn-R-G Flywheel the car revs out faster and feels a lot quicker to respond to the right foot. HKS Hyper Max II realy helped the car, Big Time. The ride comfort is just fantastic. My old suspenction was old and battered and has covered 109,000 miles. Now it's like driving a new car. The goodridge brakelines have sorted out the spongy feel in the brakes and on hard full braking it realy lets you know whats going on. Bring on the sunshine
  2. I LOVE MY SUPRA!!!! got the car back tonight and the clutch feels great!! The fly wheel realy does make a big diff to the way the car rev's out.... The peddle takes a little more push but it's just right and the car has a nice bite and short pull.... have'nt give her some yet but i'll let ya know what it's up to!!
  3. OK OK, working late tonight sorry but noted!! enginE Yea he has a full car he's breaking. I was down alooking at another car he had as i wanted to rob the dash. I expect the flywheel to be a little lumpy, but i hope its not as bad as you say!!
  4. Thank's guys I was going to buy the engin as a back up should something go wrong with my own engin. Its pushing 110,000 miles and im about to go to town with new bits and bobs and will this winter!! defo be droping a single tuby into her!! anyways i get her back tomorrow with the following complete Veilside Teardrop Exhaust RPS Street Max Clutch RPS Cyn-R-G Flywheel HKS Hypermax II Goodridge Break lines Welbro pump new plugs/ filters/ oil change/ Timing belt Once i get her back i drive her for the next week or so then i'll pull in the GReddy FMIC. Not looking forward to the ratteling from the Flywheel however a few people i have spoken to say that the Cyn-R-G was designed to help dampen this a little only time will tell.
  5. the guys looking £1400. is this of the mark!! No warranties other that it will start!!

  11. when up for a spirited drive it has to be Paul Van Dyke "Angle" or BT "Flaming June" You Have to love the Build Up
  12. Give Toyota a try, They will use your no claims for both cars aslong as one's a toyota, Not much good if you have lots of mod thoe, they don't like em!!
  13. What about calling it "Brute" or "CornBeef"
  14. Even with the AEM standalone will i still need a boost controler? I could be wrong, but i was of the understanding that the AEM did everything!!!!
  15. Currently standard bar an Apexi Airfilter ----------------- edited to say Veilside Teardrop CW Decat Pipes ----------------- However My car is awaiting the installation of the following RPS Street Max clutch RPS RPS Cyn-R-G Fly Wheel Fluidyne Aluminum Radiator GReddy 3 Row FMIC Walbro Fuel Pump after the above is installed i am going down the line of AEM standalone EMS Looking to complete the above with HKS 264 Camshafts, both Intake and Exhaust Cam Gear's GReddy Lightweight Pullies

  17. Hi peeps, I'm Looking to get a set of HKS 264 Camshafts, both Intake and Exhaust. From reading about this upgrade they give aprox 30 more rwhp with a trade-of off only 200rpm's of additional lag! Can anyone please give me some advice if this is a good upgrade or not. I use the car everyday and i don't want a lumpy idle.. Thanks for any advice Fox..

    Welcome.... BUT :needspic:
  19. What speed "DID THEY THINK YOU WHERE DOING"
  20. My diff was only driving one wheel regardless driving style. When we put the car on to the ramp there was no visable damage but when we turned the drivers side wheel we all could hear grinding and clunking. Also the current diff was from a JDM Supra as there where no fittings or outlets for the oil cooler. Also the oil cooler was in bits and there where more rows than fins showing. So i suspected that the uk diff packed in due to the oil cooler not working. I sent an e-mail to Chris Wilson who was very kind and replyed to my e-mail with some very helpful advice and his phone number, to give him a call. I call Chris the next day and with the help from Chris i was able to get the car sorted!!!
  21. Anyone on the board own this supra!! Ebay Link
  22. would it not be better just to make a post and a brief description of the problem / solution / thanks, in the traders section. That way when people want to do business they can search for the traders history, and see both sides of the coin EG. TRADER X ( CRAP DELIVERY ) Simple and plain. Then A short description in the post a chance for the trader to reply and then locked for everyone to see!!
  23. Thats not a bad price. I was able to get a second hand unit for £400. The price i got from Toyota for a UK Diff was £1800.+ vat (off hand can't rember the correct price! The UK diff gets plumed into an oil cooler where as the jap counter part does not. ie it's a closed systems may be someone can add this to the jap vs uk debate) The TRD diff is now on my wish list. I was in supra the other day with one fitted and boy it can suck up the traction. Where my car will dance for a bit and then dart off. This thing locked both wheels and sat down and sucked it up!!
  24. I'm sorry, just hate things like this!! My 1p worth is that this is a members site, and as such members should be allowed to express there view(s) and more so! be allowed to share there events and dealings with any trader, The good the Bad or the Ugly. sorry for the rant....
