I found on mine that if you parked it level when refitting the roof panel and tightening the 4 bolts evenly it sealed fine, but on a slope it wasn`t as reliable and I had a small leak. 90,000 miles is OK if you have FULL Service History, mine at 70,000 miles burnt a bit of oil (Valve Stem Oil Seals) I sold it and bought a Porsche Boxster 2.7 (a lot newer and more money) as I wanted a proper roadster. Above 60mph the aerotop is very noisy as the wind fills the rear seat area, the Porsche is slower on acceleration but similar on top speed) but at 100mph is a driveable car with top down. You can`t have best of both worlds but for just over 6K if its a good example (take someone with you who knows Supras) then its not a bad price. Expect under 20mpg commuting but as high as 32mpg touring if you keep it under 70. Why do you have to pay £15000 tax when you import a car, my Boxster would just be cheaper than this car and the tax ?

Is this a "Day Commuter" ? The car looks awesome and the spec is unbelievable 600 BHP but it is it really driveable below 70 MPH ? Could I use this as a commuter or am I being stupid ? Paul whats the expected clutch life 6 Momths or 6000 miles ?

Heres some pictures showing the unit / cd changer, wiring etc The preouts are Front (Stereo), Rear (Stereo) and SubWoofer (Mono) so it is quite versatile for amps and speakers.

Dangerous Brain, Alpine do an interface for a 97 rangerover which lowcost audio do its a ALPINE-KWE-873E There are preouts for a stereo power amp and also for a mono bass power amp, its Alpine so it`s a normal output. Heres a picture of the ALPINE-KWE-873E

Hi I`m in Bristol near the M5 Bridge at Avonmouth. It`s a very nice piece of kit and Alpine do release new discs every now and again to reflect new map data. Come and have a look at it, if you want it fitted I could do that at a reduced rate. The sound quality is amazing even on stock speakers. Its Secondhand but like New, I can`t get rid of the New Description, this forum has got a few issues recently ! I`ve had this from new and its excellent, it`s single Din and the MP3 CD Changer fits in the boot (Best) or under the passenger front seat (Its a bit tight). Used it in my Honda S2000 and Supra Aerotop TT. I`ve got a copy of the 2004 DVD and this covers all of Europe. If someone wants it installed then thats not a problem, it`s better than a TomTom as it has an inbuilt Gyro to tell it it that you`re in a tunnel (no satellites) and it also uses the speed pulse from the speedo to be more accurate (according to Alpine) However my new Porsche Boxster has fibreoptic comms so it`s surplus to requirements. The Cd Changer holds 6 CD`s and will play Normal plus MP3 tracks so in theory you could have 60 CD`s worth of music in the Cd Changer. There are preamp outputs for Front/Rear/Subwoofer so if you want to Max this out you can ? Cost me £1200 Very Good Condition to you £400 I`ll fit it for £50 if you buy the Halfords Lead and Din Pocket !

Way too expensive nearer £8000 if it`s as described, before someone else tells you and where are the pictures. If you look in the 4 sales there are plenty of single turbos in the same price range you are after IMHO ?

Jurgen how does this one compare to "Theo`s" 51 Kai thats up for sale at the moment ? Can u send me the Japanese pictures of "Theos car" and can yo u confirm it cost 17.5K 18 months ago ? Stupid Question maybe but is Theo`s car a reasonable runaround off boost ? Thanks Mike
