  1. For Sale on behalf of the other half: a Seat Leon TDI SE. 5 Doors 110 BHP 93 000Miles Taxed till Aug 08 MOT March 09 Part Service History Metallic Black £3750 ono Fun but sensible way of getting to work. Currently parked in Glasgow. PM if interested. Photos available at weekend. Cheers. Steve
  2. **************Sod it I'm keeping it! Got it all shined up and ready for the photos and couldn't sell it! At least until the bank manager thinks otherwise. So for now I'm parking this ad********************************* The time has come so here goes: I'm selling my well loved but rarely driven 1993 Black Twin Turbo Supra. 6 Speed Manual Gearbox, powered spoiler, 5 spoke Wilcox Hunter wheels and usual trimmings. Air con, electric windows and electric drivers seat. I've had it dealer serviced since purchase in April 05 and various minor works done, all receipts available. There is a minor split in the rear leather seat (2cm) and a scuff on the underside of the front bumper. The Stereo is as factory fitted and works fine (reciever band has been expanded from Japanese range) but the CD player eats cds so need replaced. It has 74k miles on the clock, about 12k of which are in from the UK. It was imported in December 2004 and I bought it direct from the importers. This is a well looked after, clean, as standard car. Offers near to £9000 would be good. I live in Glasgow but am regularly down in the midlands so could bring it down to any seriously interested buyers. I'll get some photo's sorted out soon. Any interest then please PM me Thanks, Steve
  3. Hi guys, Hopefully I can join you. Not sure yet, but if I can I'll see you at the services too. Cheers, Steve
  4. Hi all, I'm getting a vibration through the accelerator pedal at between 2000 and 2500 revs. It's most noticable under load, any ideas? What should I check first! Cheers, Steve
  5. Hi, What time's kick off at crail in the morning? I'll be heading up from Glasgow in my sup plus a mate in his scooby, anyone else? Steve
  6. My mate lives down there with a very smart porsche 968. He's a big Supra fan so I'll tell him to keep an eye out for you. (I drove Edinburgh to Lincoln and back with not a second glance.)

  8. Thanks for the info folks, Looks like I'll get it replaced next week.. I'll start saving for a conversion too. The J-spec brakes just don't give me confidence and the other side could go too. beautiful sunshine and the car's sitting doing nothing. I'm gutted.
  9. Would have been ideal but the supra's off the road till I get the brakes fixed Give me a shout next time you're thinking about it. It'll be good to meet some local owners. Steve
  10. D'oh once more the search button comes in handy AFTER I've posted my "new" thread. Bit scary though. I was tanking along last night merrily when actually the thing could have self destructed at any time! Seems like 11 year mark is a common factor. Go check yours now!!!!
  11. Hi all, I got a problem I've not seen before and was wondering if anyone else had. While changing the pads a hairline crack in the caliper right at the bleed nipple was found. Its a new one on me. It doesn't look abused or dented. The only idea Ive got so far is something has been over tightened (how can you obertighten th bleed nipple!). No pictures I'm afraid. I've still got a few months on the warrenty the importers gave me so hopefully I won't have to fork out to change it. So despite the sunshine its back to the diesel :
  12. No worries there. I'm using the "fill it when its thirsty" approach. If I want mpg I'll use the diesel!
  13. Just thought I'd share the massive smile I'm still wearing from having a whole week of using my supra. I work away from home lots so at best get to use it every odd weekend. A whole week! 700 miles! Fantastic! Fuel bill's not so pretty but sod it... It's worth it. Oh well back to the oil burner next week! Steve P.S. got the club stickers, cheers
  14. Never mind....found an old thread with the answer.
  15. Hi all, I need pointing in the direction of some decent brake pads for my j-spec supra. Any suggestions? The bank balance's not quite up for a conversion just yet! Steve
  16. Hi all, First I'd like to say hello as a new owner and since this is my first post. I've got a 94 TT manual with a toad alarm and I'm keen to get a turbo timer fitted. I need an idiots guide here...which one, how do I fit etc. I think I can handle sitting there while it cools down, but I'd rather the time was based on what I had just been doing driving wise instead of just a safe number on minutes. Cheers Steve
