  7. Nick, Is it possible to get the back box of my Hiper polished up, its looking tatty! If so, how much? Pat
  8. I've heard that HKS have brought out a new Hiper. Havent seen or heard it though, but think its fully stainless steel Oh, and Hiper at WOT is very loud!
  9. Got enough room to park a few dozen supras outside your house Paul?
  10. Yep, still up for this Stu. Probably no need to phone the pub, though it cant hurt.
  11. Howstuffworks Thats a fantastic site for a mechanical ignoramous like myself... learnt so much over this lunchtime already. Might even begin to understand whats going on in this technical section one day!
  12. D'Oh... not sure what I meant! Think it was with one cat!! Oh I dont know!!!
  13. I believe some people have got through with no cats. Its depends on your testing station, how hot your cats are when they are tested... You can virtually guarantee with one. Not sure if theres any 'friendly' testers around your area or not
  14. So is it worth me driving the 300 mile round trip to CW's? I thought I'd ring Toyota to see if they could help on this dilema! They could... New starter motor £260+VAT Fitting £190+VAT 3 hours labour at £63 f***ing an hour So its off to see Chris
  15. What was your afr reading at the last THOR dyno day mate? Was the fuelling ok?
  16. Its still doing this. Havent checked anything yet, but noticed that its getting fractionally worse Oh well, its only money!
  17. The car is in regular use, 40 mile a day commute! I'm not sure its the battery... once it does fire up it does it instantly, the starter motor doesnt turn over at all!
  18. Bah humbug... I guess a battery is better than a starter motor But I'll check the connectors etc... and also check how old the battery is.
  19. Battery... only got a new just over a year ago!
  20. I've got problems starting the car. Its happened in the last 3 days... Its like the starter motor is sticking, when I first try turning the key it just clicks, then after a few goes it'll fire up as normal. Is this the starter motor or the battery? and how much is a new starter motor should this one fail? Ta
  21. Lets make it the Old Mill again, if no-ones got a problem with that. Nice and close to me
  22. After speaking to people like CW, I am increasingly thinking less is more! Of course there are stages of modification when you have to get a new ecu or electronic gizmos, but for many people running lightly modded cars (like myself) there seems to be little need to install these things.
