  1. Had the same problem last year. Toyota wanted £250 for a new part, I got mine second hand from Nathan at TDI for much less. Bitch to fit though...
  2. Good luck... I've been reading this thread with interest (whilst sitting on the fence! )
  3. Hi Rob, havent seen you around in a while... meet in the Old Mill at the end of Berko high street... Nice and easy for me too since I've moved to Berko!!!
  4. Yeah, wouldnt mind seeing some pics too... had a quick look at the grill tech website and I think it looks pants, its far to far forward. I was looking at putting something in at the back of the bumper, nearer to the radiator. Was it easy to butcher and fit afterwards Chris?
  5. Looks like mine's the highest mileage at the moment!!!
  6. £7k My whole car cost not much more than that!!!

  8. Well, it wont win the lowest mileage, far from it, but I've got 90k on mine and its a '93 1993 - 90k 30k of them done in the 2 years since I've had it! PS: Why only manual - as mines an auto !!
  9. 66hp for sorting the fuelling out with an SAFC ??? Must get me one of those and get back upto Pete's
  10. Or you could get one of Chris Wilsons replacement I/C's for £550. They slot straight in place of the stock one and are pretty damn good. As Dude says though, it depends on what plans you have for modding the car
  11. Moving house this weekend so will have to wait for the January meet in Berkhamsted
  12. I was reading the latest edition of Top Gear mag the other week. The letters page was funny, filled with serious and tongue in cheek letters about The Stig. I was cracking up at the letters that were slagging off the BBC at being calous and insensitive at the death of one of their stuntmen! WTF!!! Are these people from a different planet?!?!
  13. I was quite happy with that figure Running lean as well at high boost, so once fuelling is sorted will hopefully see a few more gee-gees squeezed out!!!
  14. 367 rhhp at 1.2 bar (measured at THOR)
  15. The humps in the high street arent that bad, mines got crap ground clearance but I manage OK. I do have to take things slowly but that means people get to hear more of the hiper between the speed humps
  16. Should we contact the pub or just decend en masse?!?
  17. The skies the limit, well, your bank balance is really Well over 700 is not too difficult with the bits and pieces. Dont think Supras are the cars to "chip" though.
  18. Thanks chaps, Matt, I've got standard Jap fuel pump and injectors at the moment, no regulator.
  19. The Old Mill is in Berkhamsted (I think... well theres one there!!!) Me and Susie would be up for a little get together at some point. Probably not a good idea this side of christmas, but definitey 2nd w/e in Jan.
  20. Done a few searches on fuel computers but nothing really has answered my question! As the car is running lean at high boost it has been recommended that a Fuel Computer is the order of the day. The Apexi AFCII has been recommended but I'm not all that hung up on the display... bit garish. 1. Can the Apexi unit be stuffed into the Din section beneath the single radio slot in the dash as I dont fancy it stuck on the side somewhere? 2. Is this unit the only decent fuel computer around? I've read a bit about the GReddy E-Manage system, but this seems a bit overkill to me? 3. What about the HKS one, is that any good? Comments please... Thanks
  21. Had exactly the same problem on mine once. The de-limiter was a bit dodgy and it used to cut out intermittently. The speedo always read 120mph. Sent it into the garage and have had no further problems with it.
  22. Thats pretty good. I was getting 30mpg on a steady (70mph) motorway run before any mods... its considerably less now though
