    Question - RLTC

Same here.Had a slip towards drivers side while in a straight line tonight, but luckily corrected it in time.Road was dry.I have standard suspension and wheels and no RLTC.
  4. Hi guys. Our "other car" is becoming too small for the family and I'm looking to buy a family 4x4 in the next few weeks.I'm not really keen on MPV's and my wife is keen on an X5,lol,yeah I know:p We've had a look at the Range Rover HSE,but we preferably wouldn't want a car older than 5years.Any ideas welcomed. Cheers Ant:)

    Dentist

Under the current NHS contract terms the cost of an extraction and root canal treatment is exactly the same as the both fall in band 2 treatment. There are currently three main bands of treatment and charges in the NHS:Band 1 -Includes a checkup and clean and polish and any diagnostic procedures like xrays. This costs £15.50.Then we have Band 2.This may include your checkup if it was due,as many xrays as necessary, all extractions as necessary, all fillings as necessary, all root canal treatments as necessary and if needed a clean and polish, all inclusive. This cost only £42 and a few pence. When you have this treatment finished and you need any treatment in the same band,ie band 2 this should be done free of charge if you need this further treatment within two months of the previous course. The top band is band3.This covers dentures, bridges, crowns, veneers etc.The charge for this band is £189.For this fee you may get as many items under band 3 as necessary, but also covers the lower band 2 treatment. The two month period for any further treatment also applies and there normally is a free replacement period of 12 months for any NHS treatment done, but this excludes veneers and dentures. However, there is a charge of £15.50 which can be levied for any emergency appointment to the dentist. This charge is not affected by any of the terms mentioned above.Sorry for the long post, but I thought this would be of help to members...and yes,I am another gob doctor:p
  6. I did this a few weeks ago.Must have looked like an amazing drift for any bystanders.Luckily there was no other traffic as it would have ended in tragedy...

    Hi from Aus

    lol..Welcome mate
  8. Well I've had no problems with the alarm...so far.Had it fitted today already.Dropped the car off at 9:15 this morning at a guy in Bury, Manchester that was recommended from this forum.First option was Matt Harwood, but its a long way from Liverpool to Kent.I only left at 6:30 PM tonight.I ordered the Intelliguard 950 with Intellistart. After I drop the car off I took a taxi to the Trafford Centre. Not long after the guy calls me and says he only just opened the box and there was no Intellistart in the package he ordered.I was fuming, but stayed calm as I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt.Decided to just have the alarm[Concept 650] fitted then. The airbag light is now on... ,but I know I should be able to fix it easily tomorrow.
  9. Oh yeah and apparently the Intelliguard 950 will now become obsolete and the Concept 650 is superceding it...
  10. According to the guy who fitted my alarm today the only difference is that with the IG 950 you get Dual Prox sensor,Tilt/motion Sensor and I think Glass Break sensor as standard.Everything else is exactly the same.
  11. Hi Just wanted to know if the Intellistart can be used as a substitute for a turbo timer.I did a search, but its still unclear to me whether a separate relay needs to be added into the circuitry as well:blink:

    Help with Nero 7

Thanx guys,I sussed all that is mentioned in your replies before coming on here again.I have now managed to sort this out by just making a data disc.In Nero6 Startsmart I just used the simple menus to create mp3 discs.Hopefully I won't need to burn any more discs after this one as I'm hoping to get the 80GB Ipod soon .

    Help with Nero 7

Hi,thanx for replying.I'm trying to encode mp3 to mp3Pro.It lets me do single or a few tracks at a time, but I'm trying to work out if I can encode the whole folder at once instead as there are over 300 tracks in the one folder. I'm using 700mb CD-R discs and never had a problem before. Its just dawned on me now that I had several folders with fewer than 99 tracks in each in the past,duh...guess will have to break down the large folder into smaller ones and try again.
  14. Hi can anyone tell me if its possible to encode a folder in Nero7 instead of transferring files one by one to be encoded.I've tried all sorts ,but no luck. Also when I try to burn a disc Nero 7 tells me it can only burn up to 99 files/mp3's.Surely this can be changed can't it?I used to burn over 150 mp3's with Nero6
  15. Yeah, its always nice seeing another Supra on the road.I work in St Helens so go that way every day. I'm still addicted to the sound of mine myself.Since going BPU I've been told it sounds evil on full throttle:d
  16. Hi I flashed as you went past and then we waved:) .First one I've been able to say "Hi" to for some time. There's a few around here I always miss.I may have seen you on Friday afternoon going towards Tesco in Prescot.I was in the black UK spec. Ant
  17. Oooh mate, glad it doesn't look too bad.Had a few incidents like that myself, but luckily no damage!Arent you on the Soarer site as well? I thought I'd seen your name there before:)
  18. I've started using Hyper Sports and Racing earlier this year to fit a Greddy titanium exhaust on my stock TT.A full service followed within months and I went BPU within weeks thereafter and not had a single problem since they first worked on my car. What can I say about these guys,I've not known them for long, but they certainly seem to know what they're doing. They are a very friendly and down to earth bunch of guys. As for being "good at basic mechs" anyone that has been on their website must have seen the specs of the cars they have worked on.Surely thats not all lies!In issue 17 of JTuner magazine there is also a Honda CRX that they worked on.Please don't take this wrong mate as I can understand how someone can feel if things go wrong with their car after its been worked on by someone else.As always though, there is always two sides to a story.I'm glad my experience with HyperSR has been great and have recommended them to others. Ant
  19. Thanx Geo and Colin:)
