  1. Congrats mate. Why is the date on there 10/09/03 or am I missing something
  2. Yes,I agree as its not really worth it.The snow was only bad on the roads of the estate where I live. The main roads were fine as they salted/gritted them.I just felt like a fool trying to steer my car into the road while everyone else just cruised by.I've enjoyed driving my supra this first Winter, but this was the first time I had to leave it at home due to the weather:rolleyes:
  3. Does anyone ever use chains on their wheels in heavy snow:taped:
  4. We had quite a bit of snow last night.Couldn't steer my supra into the road after I reversed off my drive.I tried several times.Never had this problem with any of my other cars.Anyone had a similar problem before?Had to take a taxi to work in the end,but at least my Supra is still safe and sound:) .

    Teeth

Good question.Thats probably why some of us don't develop wisdom teeth...EVOLUTION
  6. I got some of Nic's front facelift indicators and they are genuine excellent quality Toyota parts:)
  7. OK mate, will do.Ordered the rad from Toyota today.Had to pay 50 odd pounds surcharge which they will refund once I give them back the old one. They said it should be in stock by Wednesday, but I'm working all week and will prolly only pick it up early Sat morning:( .At least I can order my Greddy Titanium racing exhaust now as I've just accumilated some funds.Would anyone go for something different in the same price range?Gimme your views before I order it tomorrow/Monday. Now...back to that bottle of rum tehee:D
  8. I'm in Liverpool near the Safaripark. If it sounds that easy I might as well have a go myself, thanx anyway. They've put different coolant in ...about 4l.I suppose if I drain the radiator I could just put some red stuff back in or do I need to flush the whole system?? Dodgy: WI ?
  9. I can't bloody believe it.Apparently Toyota now don't want to take the radiator back from the garage:rolleyes: and they won't let them order another one in exchange. So now its up to me to order one myself, geez.I've arranged with the garage to get a refund on Monday by cheque.I'm just concerned that they won't keep their word and wonder if I should wait until that cheque clears before I buy the right radiator. Anyone wanna come and help me fit my radiator once I get it:D .The garage have offered to fit it,but I don't trust them working on the Supra anymore:(
  10. Well I'm going back to the garage today.Gonna ask the guy exactly what details of my car he gave when he ordered the radiator. If he has to refit and wants to charge labour again I'm not going to pay again. If he doesn't want to refit it should I stop his cheque[not something I'd like to do] and get it sorted on my own and return the radiator to the shop?
  11. Thanx people,so is that part number the correct one for my radiator.
  12. Bloody hell,10mile test drive!!!They surely have taken you for a ride
  13. I'm convinced its the wrong radiator.Thanx for the pics John and the advise everyone.I'll speak to the garage owner tomorrow. He did say to return if there are any problems.Question is...will I cause any damage to the transmission driving the car like this as I'm sure the auxilliary fan is not working. Also ,is this the correct part number for a 1995 auto radiator:16400-46430 ?
  14. The fit never seemed right.Yes it is a self tapping screw they seem to have put in to attach it to the plastic cowling.I've just checked and the screw is not even in the hole they made...the hole is about 1cm in front of where the screw is,geez. This is the first time this garage has worked the supra. They were normally pretty good when I took my cars to them in the past.It was only a radiator they had to fit I thought, but how wrong was I.Guess you could say someone has learned their lesson:( .I've got discs and pads and possible a Greddy titanium exhaust to fit next month...now to find someone who can do it:search:
  15. When does the small auxilliary fan for the transmission start turning?I've let the engine idle for a couple of minutes in Park and it never moved. Here are some pics of the new radiator. It just doesn't seem to be right. There is no foam/sponging on the edges either:rolleyes:
  16. So does that mean I've got the wrong radiator then?I've just picked it up.Has anybody got a pic of how the transmission cooling fan attach to the radiator because there was no point on it to screw the top bit of the fan metal housing and they made a hole in the metal top arm to screw it in elsewhere. Also, before I couldn't clearly see this fan from the top when I had the old radiator, but now I can.I gave the garage the part numbers and everything, but I feel that they may have put the manual radiator in and just bunged the transmission cooling fan onto it.Is there anybody in/near merseyside with an auto TT and stock radiator so I can compare?

    FMIC-Fitting

I'm gonna have to try and do that myself someday:D
  18. Is that an auto radiator you got fitted Ian,oh and if so are you saying that the old fan is bolted onto the new radiator? There seems to be a huge gap between the new radiator and the car whre its fitted. The old one had a sponge /foam lining to fill the gap.Should the new one not have it as well?
  19. Wish I'd taken mine to Chris Wilson after today:(
