  12. Hi All For sale, my 96 Facelift Toyota Supra SZ as need the money for a deposit on a house but I am in no rush to sell the car. The car is a 1996 TOYOTA SUPRA 3.0 3dr, 55000 miles, very rare Rare facelift model in beautiful Royal Sapphire Pearl, Automatic gearbox with switchable manual mode. Electric windows, Electric folding mirrors, 19" Alloys (tyres have loads of life left in them and discs and pads all round have good life left in them too), XS Power MOTORIA Stainless steel exhaust, cobra alarm and imobiliser. This car has been lovingly maintained regardless of cost by myself and the previous owner (also a supra owners club member)and is totally standard except alloys and exhaust. The car also comes with: Every piece of paperwork you'll ever need including original auction paperwork from japan, owners handbook and folder, every reciept since being imported etc Spare Cobra key fob and imobiliser key New calcium Battery fitted recently UK battery connectors fitted Air conditioning regassed and system tested Bad points The car in 100% condition mechanically and the only bad points are cosmetic. These are: Headlights peeling around the chrome rings inside. Very common and can be replaced easily or refurbished from a guy on here for around £150 Rear drivers side quarter panel has some lacquer lifting from the bottom. I can take pictures of this but its very difficult to see it on photos. Again I can have this fixed for the buyer if they want. Slight kerb scrath mark on front passenger alloy (did it last week and was very annoyed with myself) Apart from those 3 things the car is in mint condition, drives brilliantly and puts a smile on my face every time I get in it. Unfortunately though I need to start thinking about buying a house with the missus so need the money for a deposit in the near future but am in no rush to sell the car. PM me for any additional information NOW SOLD

    Good floor mats

Do you mean the original floor mats that came with the car? In which case yes they are good but mine look horrible. Have some kind of 80's pattern on them. I want the quality of mat but just plain black with maybe silver piping
  14. Does anyone know of any good places that sell tailored floor mats for the mkiv supra. I looked on the Envy website but seems like they have discontinued thier ones. http://www.envyperformance.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3909 I really want so good quality mats with the carpet studs on the bottom so the mats are moving around in the car, any ideas Trev
  15. Same problem here. Is it a new motor thats required and as the motor is inside the mirror doe that mean a whole new mirror unit is required? Thanks
  16. Hi all My passenger wing mirror is sometimes not folding out when I press the switch. I can't hear the motor whiring away either so I think the motor may be on its way out. Can anyone tell me how to replace the motor in a mirror. Is the motor inside the mirror itself, is it easier to buy a brand new mirror and replace the plastic surround or is the motor not part of the mirror. Many thanks Trevor
  17. Just finished giving my car the biggest clean of the year so far. With the weather so good at the moment I decided to go through the full process so a wash, dry, detail and clay bar, dry and then wax. The results are amazing. Used all meguiar products and am very happy with the results. What do you think?
  18. mine is a 96 n/a facelift and when I was sat in the car with it running and pulled the bonnet release the door open light flashed on. I tryed it again today and it didn't work. Then I started the car on so it was running again and tried it and the flashed up again. So seems only to work when the car is running I think but may be wrong.
  19. Hi there I have just noticed a problem that has just started happening with my car. When i go above 60mph the exclamation warning light and the door, boot, bonnet open light flashes at the same time. I pulled over twice to check the boot was closed properly, doors and the bonnet. But its still doing it. I also tried test the doors etc by closing them all and then trying to pull on the doors, bonnet and boot one by one to see if I could narrow down which of the 4 sensors could be causing the problem but it didn't flash up. Anyone have any ideas? At the moment I can only think its the bonnet and that as the wind force increases above 60 the air could be pushing the bonnet up from the underside causing it to set the sensor off. Any help would be great Thanks
  20. Good idea Ill try speaking to Jurgen
  21. A guy that works for me did something similar when he lived in the US. He sold a mustang for $5000 but on the paperwork transferred the car for $0. This meant that the buyer didn't have to pay any state tax on the purchase
