  1. I don't know if ISF wheels would work: However I quite like these from the newer Lexus GS Maybe have them painted grey These ones are from the current GS: Trev
  2. I did think those ISF wheels would look nice but I bet they would be very expensive.
  3. Hi All I know you can get the lexus GS300 sport wheels to fit a MKIV supra but are there any other lexus wheels that will also fit the car? I am toying with the idea of keeping the supra for a while but want to change the wheels. Trev
  4. Hi Lui Can you just confirm what time people not coming in the convey need to be on the club stand by? Thanks Trev
  5. Hi Lui Just paid, can I have 1x stand pass and 3x entry tickets please. Thanks Trevor
  6. Hmmm, this car looks familiar? £4995, just crazy!
  7. Yeah I guess that's the problem with ebay. Good luck with the sale, I hope it goes to someone on here as I'd be interested to see how the new owner gets on and hopefully it stays in the club Trev
  8. I see the supra went for £2,600 in the end. Seems like a fair price to me based on the bits of work that need doing to get it back in tip top condition Trev
  9. Hi all I recently bought a Supra and the front drivers side caliper had to be replaced due to it sticking. I also had both front discs replaced and pads as a precaution. I've still got all the original ones from the car so Caliper, 2x front discs and pads. The caliper is from a 98 NA with 56k miles so the car is a later model and hasn't covered a great distance. I am sure someone could refurb the caliper. As for the discs they look to be fine (I am no expert though) but again I suspect they could be skimmed if needed and might be of some use to someone. I am based in Warwickshire and need to get rid of them out of the garage so first come, first served. Collection only Trev
  10. Well, after a few weeks working on my GT40 I decided to give the Supra a bit of attention today seeing as the Sun decided to pop its head out for a few hours. Gave the car a good clean and she looks as good as ever http://www.gt40builder.com/image-dump/april-2010.jpg
  11. You two both have PM's. I am afraid its collection only as I don't have time to post them. Trev
  12. Bump, giving these away as need the space in my garage. First come first served!
  13. Bump, Does anyone have any use for these? Trev

  15. The 98 NA that recently sold for £3700 was indeed a bargain. I should know I was the lucky buyer Thing is though, although the car was cheap the main problem I think Jon had with selling the car was his location and time of year. Jon lives in Dundee which for me was an 800mile round trip which I was only prepared to do if the car was at a price I couldn't ignore. Also as many people will know selling in the winter is always more difficult. My advice is stick to your guns on price for a bit if your in no hurry to sell. Also as others have stated the gearbox is clearly a good selling point so I wouldn't let it go too cheap. Good luck with the sale Trev
  16. When I say I had the option of an Aston, I meant buying a real Aston v8 vantage as the cost of a second hand one is about what ill be spending on my GT40
  17. Won't be that much of a squeeze as the width of the GT40 is approx 1800cmm wide so about the same as the Supra. Plus when the chassis arrives it won't have the wheels and bodywork so will be much narrower. It will also be living on a build table with castors to make it easier to work around the garage. In terms of the car itself I've gone for the basic package to start with and then will keep buying the rest of the car as and when I need it as you don't save any money buying it all in one go. I've also had the chassis specially modified and the floor slightly dropped due to my height (6ft,2") and its being powder coated in satin black. It's going to be a big and expensive project but I just love the GT40, just awesome cars and so much character, they are a real event. I even turned down an Aston Martin V8 vantage for this project so I am clearly nuts. Trev
  18. Yep, this is a club car. JonathanC was the previous owner, then formatzero before him and DrBlackman before him so I was able to do some research on the car before buying it to see how well the car had been looked after etc, which I am pleased to say was very well
  19. Only plans at the moment are to possibly fit an active spoiler and that's about it. I only bought the car as a cheap runaround while I am working on getting my Ford GT40 on the road as I wanted something interesting to drive and with bullet proof reliability. Once my GT40 is finished Ill either sell the car to make some room or possibly have it converted to a TT by someone like Keron. Trev
  20. Hi All Well just over a week ago I decided to buy another Supra (this is my third one). After some initial teething problems with a sticky brake piston I finally got the car back yesterday complete with new front caliper, discs and pads and I have to say I am one very happy driver again. The car is a 98 NA in quicksilver and is absolutely mint and really doesn't look like a 12 year old car. I've already had a lot of postive comments about the car and particularly about the colour. I've owned gunmetal grey and RSP supras previously and I have to say quicksilver is far a nicer colour than the gunmetal IMO. Gunmetal looks great in low lights but on a sunny day it tends to go gold where quicksilver changes to a bright silver which looks great. So far I've just painted the calipers and hubs and given the car a very good clean, clay and wax and its looking rather nice. Trev
  21. No probs, I've just ordered some of these. Hopefully they will be the same. Trev
  22. Hi all Can anyone identify the caliper decals used on my car and where to get them? I've just had a new caliper fitted and want the same decal to match my old caliper. Thanks Trev
  23. Quick update - I am still looking for a front drivers side caliper for an NA (2piston type) which I require ASAP. If someone has a good condition used or a new caliper they would like to sell please contact me. Thanks Trev
  24. Hi all I need a new front drivers brake caliper for my NA Supra. If anyone has one please send me a PM. Thanks Trev
