  2. Jake Are the front and back bonded in as well?
  3. Thats the way I am leaning at the moment. Can't do anything with at the moment. Its in the air with no back breaks they were completely shagged......... pads, calipers, discs the lot........ If I dont sort it out in the next day or so it will go somewhere else.
  4. Thanks Nic I am beginning to wish I had taken it somewhere else......... bloody pain in the arse this respray is turning out to be
  5. I'm waiting for a text reply from Lovatt but being impatient and wanting to get it resolved I thought I would ask on the site. Thanks thou John - Looks like I will have to be patient
  6. Hi Guys I am having a bit of a heated discussion with the people who are supposed (that being the operative work) to be respraying my car. They reckon that the windows need to stay in as they are bonded and will break if they take them out!!! So, why do you take the windows out? And how likely are they to break? How easy to replace? Just want the information as back up to beat them up with. Thanks
  7. I use mine every day. I do 24miles in total to and from work a day. And what ever on top of that for errands etc over a week.
  8. Nic Thank you very much for the explanation I will bear that in mind. I will take some photos of the filter tomorrow and post them so you can see whats fitted. As you can gather I don't have a clue when it comes to under the bonnet things................
  9. HI Slick My K + N is conical not a panel but thanks for the heads up. I think I may replace it with a Apexi. Any OH YES I am off to see Motley Crue on the 17th June at the NEC I can't wait........ Last time they came round I went to every night. Hey but I was younger then
  10. Thanks for the reply Nic I am off to the garage tomorrow to go over the work that needs doing!!! I will take a proper look and source the air filter after. Didn't actually realise until yesterday that it was a non standard air filter. DOH!!! I am told the one that is one give a few extra bhp.
  11. Took my car in today for a service. I am told I need a K & N Air Filter for my car. I am told the one on it needs replacing as it is damaged. But I am also told the one I have on is the wrong size. Apparently I need to source it myself. Help it came with the car. Any ideas were to get one from and what size I need? Oooops car is a 95 N/A jap if that helps.
  12. I have got some of the Door Sills but I haven't fitted them yet as I am getting the car resprayed next week. Look good thou!!
  13. I have had some seats recovered in leather to put in the car with the Supra logo embroidered on them. Everything went very smoothly when it came to putting in the passengers seat. However the motor on the drivers seat was broken and needed to be changed. But after 3 1/2 hours neither Wayne or Liam could get the bloody thing off. It was definitely a give up job............... But I had a great time
  14. Aren't they just. I think Liam is going to get the seat covering put onto my original seat instead, probably easiest. I will send you a photo when the job is done!!!
  15. Don't worry honey I will post the pictures once it's done. I have given Liam a few other jobs since the car is on his drive for the week whilst he sorts that little tiny seat problem. Which defeated you both!!!!!!! Really liked your headlights once they were done so I have asked him to paint mine. Should look smart when it is finished. If I ever happen to come across another ashtray I will mail it to you but no trying to get Liam to mail you mine!!!!
  16. Just a quick one. Wayne thanks for your help at the weekend with my little seat problem. I hope you got home in one piece and the car didn’t die. Ray nice to meet you hope your sick baby is back very soon. Liam I know I am turning out to be a headache to you…………. but I appreciate your efforts very much. And I had a great afternoon Love from a damsel in distress
  17. Just received my stickers and card. All looks fab.
  18. How can I include a picture in my sig, looking at the posting rules the is turned off, does this matter ?
  19. DEFINITE RESPECT. When I took my son go-karting his friends all had a row about who went if my car. Stuff the go0karting. I had to take each of them out individually before they went home. I have driven down the high street and had people say "nice car" The old man up the road from my boyfriend stopped for a chat and told how lovely the car is. And I frequently get kids offer to wash my car so they can have a nose. Thats what you call a definite respect!!!
  20. To be honest as a general rule pick the top companies in your area that you would want to work for and send your CV. The worst they can do is say no, not interested. In terms of recruiting as a company it is always better to advertise. Much less cost involved and if it doesn't work out you haven't lost anything other than the advertising fee.
  21. I may know some more helpful people. I will PM you tomorrow with who to contact. PM me with some more details of what she is looking for e.g. last place of work and salary required and how far she will travel. I dont need full details they are personal but it will help me find the right people for you.
  22. What sort of position are you looking for? For the larger companies the recruiters are targetted on the amount of calls, visits they make and are so busy chasing there tail they don't have time to consider the candidate. I worked at a recruitment company for 4 years and have a good idea of the ins and outs of there workings. But don't shout cause I dont work for one now. If you can tell me what sort of position you are looking for I may be able to steer you in the right direction thou. What website you register on kind of depends in what job you are looking for. Totaljobs is good and also try Jobsite.
  23. No problem thanks for that. The ones I have ordered come with a 5 year guarantee. I will remember the tip for when they arrive.
  24. Enjoy your new baby when it arrives. The Supra is a great deal of fun to drive. I use mine as my everyday car and it just puts such a smile on my face even after 12 months. I usually only keep my cars about 12 months but I just can't see this one go. Send me some pictures of your TT when it arrives. Good luck with selling the FTO if i come across anyone who is looking for one I will let you know. PS. I have ordered the silicone wiper blades in Carbon Fibre. Thought I would give them ago.
