  1. About a year ago I was looking for a TT Supra but couldnt find one in my price range and ended up buying a Scooby, anyway someone has crashed into me and wrote it off so im on the look out for a Supra again. Can I get a reasonable one for around 8-10k?? As I was told last year that I wouldnt get a good one for less than 10k.
  2. Thought it said on the 200 owners club that you needed to sell the car to pay for a wedding?
  3. Seen this on the 200 owners club site. Way back when I was 19 this car made me want an s13, it was only 400bhp back then. It is an awesome car, but could have had same power for less $$ if they had put the SR20 engine in or even a RB25. Your not gonna miss 30 quid and 800 to 1 are decent odds providing they all sell. I'll be buying one and i'll see if I can sell a few others. Even if you dont want the car, if you win you could try and sell it back to Richie for 10K, that way he's got 14K to spend on his wedding and he's still got his car. And you've got 10K to put towards whatever, win-win.
  4. If it doesnt bother you reading in KM then i'd say leave it as it is, save confusion as to how many miles on the clock are miles and how many are KM's. My opinion.
  5. Did see that one, but its in London, same as first one I posted. Had a PM of a member with a black N reg UK one with 89K and FSH from Bradford, wants 9.2K for it. Sound resonable if its in good nick or not?
  6. Found this Supra for sale in the ads part, was wondering if this is the sort of car I can expect to get for the money? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=31482 Looking at the picture the front bumper looks like its on the piss and the nearside front wing looks slightly different colour, what do people think?
  7. OK, thanks for all the help people.
  8. Could I get a decent Auto TT for my cash then? I wouldn't be looking to but and turbo an N/A for 8.5k, just buy it and turbo at later date, however just got a qutoe for N/A and they want twice as much! So will consider the auto TT, either that or a 3rd Gen RX-7.
  9. That why im thinking of getting an SZ and putting a turbo on it, I know it will cost more in the end, but im after a good base car.
  10. I know but I want a supra soon and I cant find a manual RZ in the colours I want for the money I have, need one before the end of the month really or I will have to insure my other car again and will have to wait even longer and save again. Terry, I'd be happy with 280BHP, but eventually would want about 350, is the kit you sell just a bolt on using standard engine internals? How much is it and whats the likely power gains?
  11. Im 24 with 1 years NCB and I got quoted 600 fully comp on UK spec and 900 for RZ with my parents as named drivers (knocked 300 quid off) with elephant.co.uk
  12. Whats involved in turbo charging an N/A Supra and how much roughly would it cost? Reason is I've got 8.5K to spend on a Supra, but cant find a manual TT I want, so was thinking about an SZ and putting a turbo on it later on. Shall I carry on looking for a TT or go down this route, advise please.
  13. Ok what about these guys, anybody had any experiance with them http://www.idealcarimports.co.uk/display.php?itemid=26 also it doesnt say if the car is a turbo or not, im guessing its not for the price??
  14. OK, cheers for the warning.
  15. Thanx for the welcome, theres a couple for sale from these guys http://dealerservices.autotrader.co.uk/GetDealer.do?did=12545&pageid=2 Theres a white and a black RZ with low mileage, you think these will be no good?? Im not too bothered about the mileage, I here the 2JZ is a pretty robust engine.
