  4. Can anyone recommend anywhere local(ish) to me.. (based in Bromley/orpington.. S/E london-kent) Used a place local previously, had new toyos put on the other day as the old falcons were knackerd and the wear was very bad and varied!! Place i used previous is no more! (or i would go back with some choice words).. Would like to use somewhere that has been used before with good results.. Any recommendations would be great. thanks.

from what i've heard the one lui arranges are v.good.. was looking at lakeside myself recently, but was recommended by quite a few people to go here.. http://www.buckmore.co.uk/content.php/000 suppose to be one of the best in the country... maybe worth a try, not too far from lakeside (half hour?).
  6. @rse... can't believe i missed this.. one of mine has started to fill with moisture...
  7. Booooo! in Bath/Bristol that weekend for a stag do. Have a good one, see you at next!
  8. May be interested in this.. Can i confirm a bit closer, car is undergoing a bit of work. Going from na auto to tt 6spd with bpu. Want to give it a bit of a run in before sticking it on the rollers though. Will it be cool to confirm near the time?
  9. yep.. as above, was a really good day.. should be up for this again.. Sure some of us convoyed from clacketts last time.. will check diary and stick name on list.. Will also start a convoy thread if there is interest from people heading from that direction.
  10. Happy birthday Ed, Have a good one...
  11. check my garage.. Those were the only two colours i was looking for when i got mine.. See if you can see any at a meet or something, as good as photos are, they all look better in the "flesh" so to say! Either colour you go for you'll be on a winner.
  12. you got me, major date FAIL.. i was meaning April.. (Cheers R, don't see you for ages and you have to point that out!! ;)) Ps Did you ever get to use those no parking signs i done for you? (topic related as these were sorted at a SEM Meet! see meets have may uses!)
  13. Saturday or Sunday are fine by me.. (gonna start of badly though as i cant make the first weekend of March, as i am at my step brothers Stag do')
  14. I have gold badges on mine, (see garage...) but they weren't the kind i've seen on some supras.. mine are kinda plated, bough them of some one on here, sorry doesn't help you much.. BUT Sure Nic can get hold of them though (import pimp)..
  15. good luck with the work.. should be picking up my conversion tomorrow.. I said i would be keeping it stock before it went in... i've now up rated pretty much all of it now! the old while its out its probably easier to do this etc, and this etc etc etc!! and almost Fully BPU'ed it as well... oooops! lol Have fun!
  16. Will keep an eye out for you... I'm over the other side of the railway by Croften school.
  17. Umm not sure if i know any one to do general labour work at the mo'.. most of the people i know who do that are on long contracts at the moment.. if you need individual bits done, let me know as i know a few people who specialize in one area areas such as carpet fitting, electrics, windows etc.. Where in P.Wood are you? i've not seen another supra around since i've had mine?? thats been over 4 years!??!? and Petts wood isn't that big!
  18. I am not a builder, but i do live in Petts Wood.. If there is no one who can help on here, i have some local contacts.. Ps what is it you are actually after? some one to labour, or a proper decorator/carpenter/plumber etc?
  19. For thoses who were not previously aware the SEM (South East Meet), used to be once a month. It was on the 1st Thursday of every month then moved to the 1st Saturday, and was held at the Fairmail pub in Cobham.. Was a very social event with (at times) good numbers, also had a bad couple of low numbers.. Gatso and a few of the other regulars including Amazing Grace (or AKA cake lady!!) tried to get some interest last year and it worked, but i believe due to the weather it sort of died over the winter.. Would be a shame to lose this due to lack of interest.. i went most months, and its easy enough to get to! a couple of us used to meet from Kent at clackets and convoy down (from the M25 Dartfort crossing it is only around 45min/1hour...) Also worth trying to keep this location due to good parking, and the summer BBQ.. (search for threads, they are normally really good sure there are loads of photos on here somewhere!)
  20. Just got the news it does not look like i'll have the car back by Thursday :(.. So doubt i'll be able to make it.... @rse!
  21. Glad your enjoying your car again! Think alot of people forget what a user friendly and comfy drive the supra can be, as well as a bit of a rocket! Did you see mine down there??
  22. How long was that Dean? a month? then back on the mods!!! quality!!
  23. strange may have one tagging along with me too!! if i haven't got the supe' back i'll prob' be my mates s2000, so it does have some uses! ha ha ha
  24. yeah, will go again if i have my car back.. Still can't believe the snow last time.. Anyway, the 10min I was at the gate having a quick ciggie to steddy myself after a interesting slide along the road to get there, there were some nice motors about so should be a good meet. Car dependent hope to see you there!
