Hi all, After your thoughts.. As the supe is now a weekend car rather than my daily drive its obviously not getting the amount of miles it used before I got a second car around a year back, the problem seems to be the battery losing charge. i've had it checked and it was given the ok, but it will be ok for a couple of weekends use then dead again, i'll either "trickle" feed the bat' from the mains or jump start the supe and the same will happen (ok for a couple of weeks then dead).. As said I am assuming its the battery on the way out! it was on the car when I got it 6 years back (and how long it was on there before that I don't know as the car is 18yrs old now..) If not the battery what other things should I look for? the car has a alarm but that shouldn't drain it in a week should it? Any suggestions for things to look into would be great.. Also any recommendations for batteries and where to get them from.. Ta..

probably going to miss this now.. shame as i was looking forward to it! council are re doing the pavements and drives and it doesn't look like i'll be able to get the supe out the road.. bugger....

I've only really seen a evo with decals on it when i am on the island... used to be over a lot to look after my granmother (long weekend every month) until she passed away a year back.. always used to take the supe for a hours drive around every time i was there though, after the worrying how the tide would effect the angle of the ramp on and off the ferry!.. see if you can guess where my garage pics were taken.

Nic is right, I am a designer and if you have the measurements and a ref of the colour it should be pretty easy to to. My company doesn't do cars but we do buses etc, I am on way home from the pub at the mo' so not in full working order but pm me any questions and I'll try and help as best I can in the morning, but if you can get vector versions of the logos you want it will probably save some artworking fees. As jpegs and tiffs will look rubbish when enlarged and a vector format such as a ai or some eps formats can be enlarged and change colour much easier.. If you have a vector copy of logos. A colour ref and sizes it should be a straight forward job for anyone with any idea. Any questions just drop me a pm

I know andy and the car well, and as people say he always has it in great condition, but the before and after pic were quite a shock! looks fantastic, quality job.. When i get mine done i know who will be doing it! Ps funny enough Andy always asked what polish i use on my supra as the whites seemed deeper.. maguires! seems to work well on the white supes!

Ta mate, luckily it was not the ticker! Just stomach, throat and lungs I busted! Ah well bring on the comeback fight!.. Good luck with your training mate..

Hope you find a good way to gain, for some gaining is As hard as getting rid of weight! And after coming back from injury listen to your body and don't push for results to fast as you may be worse off in the long run, I made that mistake, my injury ended up with me in hospital having open chest surgery, I was told not to train any more, stupidly after 3 months in hospital and 3 months bed rest, 4 months later I went back out to Thailand training! Not my smartest move but I just couldn't stop the sport I loved! I ended up back in hospital.... That was a couple of years back now, as said I am still training and teaching, nothing like before but I am planning a come back, so lots of hard work in front.. All the best with your training and bulking up, let me know you progress maybe see you at a competition sometime! I end up going to quite a few as we do mma at my gym as well (Tom 'kong' Watson trains with us).. Best of luck mate and just watch that injury!

Good conditioning is low kicks on a tyre (stand it upright, i used to have one mounted on a post, bit strange but works wonders, picked that tip up whilst training in thailand).. its hard so builds/harden the skin etc but has enough give not to damage to much.. Wish that was the same problem i am having.. done Mauy thai for near 15 years now, was fighting at a good level, then got a injury had to take some time off, now back to training and teaching and cant get the weight off! Good luck with your training...

Kept mine as a N/A for about 3/4years.. only a couple of mods (Air filter and exhaust) Had no problems on running it as a daily drive (And mine is a 93 jspec and it was 20 miles return trip into london each weekday) had a full service and mot done at a good garage once a year around feb, and also a little check/service just to check levels and filters etc just before winter kicked in again.. Now i am TT i check the levels filters etc once a month or so and top up the fluids, never had to do this with the NA.. If you get a decent one, and look after the N/A and it will go for ages.. other than the service (inc fluid/filters etc) i didn't have to pay out on the engine at all in those few years..
-
Cant compare to the vid as i cant view it at the mo, but think my fan made a whistle type noise for a bit could never pin point it? maybe worth a look.. sorry cant say how i cured it as has the engine swapped and it didn't happen after!

Think I may have one.. Got a spare couple of dash panels and sure there is the "ball" air direction bit still on the back. Only problem is it's in a bag of stuff stored away at my parents, I can have a look when I am next there, probably a week sat! If you still need it PM me next week as a reminder and I'll have a look.
