    Number plates

Another one to use is http://www.craigsplates.co.uk/import-number-plates.html they were good when i got mine from them, great quick service as well.. Also got a BS mark in the corner as they are fully leagal so no fines! got mine stuck on with some "L" brackets from B&Q..
  4. Sad i know, but i've got those trainers.... (the plain black ones)
  5. Dave pulling my dash apart at the weekend! wish me luck! ha ha. could all go so very wrong!

    Hi newbie here

@26 my insurance on my import n/a was around £600/700.. best to find a car then get quotes, as there is quite a change between uks and imports and also N/a's and turbos.. Also where you live etc, age of car, any mods etc.. best bet is decide what model you are after and call a couple of companies.. I personally would give Sky a shout as they were good for me.. Ps welcome
  8. I had bike ones on mine before i got the ones on it now.. got pulled on the way back from getting my kit fitted.. only had the plate on there 1 hour! managed to get away with it saying i had a propper plate on the way and i had only just picked the car up amd it was a temp' measure.. true to their work mr plod drove past my house a week later and saw the same Pc checking my plate... Edit: yes rosie its a bit bigger than a bike plate
  9. Hi G, so far so good with mine, nearly 6 months! think you should be ok mate... you manage fo fix it on alright? where did you fix the plate in the end? you were undecided when i last saw you..
  10. Doing my suspension in the next month or so.. Looking at the Tein super streets with upper mounts, seem to be a popular choice with people i have talked to on here.. Exhaust is a hard one to call, everyone seems to like different things.. sound seems to be a popular choice for picking your exhaust.. I've got an n/a so don't really know what are the popular choices are for the TT.
  11. Welcome.. what kind of upgrades you thinking of??.. any questions just ask on here and someone will be able to point you in the right direction specific for what you want.. Look out for the SEM in the meets section if you want to look over some other motors.. and there is a few people who know what they are talking about on the tec side down there (not me by the way!)..
  12. Thought I saw the back of a green supe' in farnborough the other day.. must have been you razza, didn't post it up as i only saw a quick glance of you.. I am just down the road near orpington station. Ps Long time no see steve, hope your good mate..

    Can't find...

There was a "how to" guide on how to replace your dials.. I have searched and can't find it, can anyone help? I know how to get the dash off but i am sure there was a step by step guide to getting the dials right out as well.. I would be grateful if anyone could find it.. Many thanks Ian

    how easy is it

As far as i know... for a normal reg, mine is the smallest leagal size.. only way to get smaller than mine is to have personal plate with less digits in it! (and that will only change the width)

    how easy is it

I used these for my plates http://www.craigsplates.co.uk/import-number-plates.html they are small and have the leagal code in the corner so if stopped the police are aware they are leagal.. see my garage for to see the size on a motor..
  19. paul, Save me a set fella, will give you a shout later in the week about calling in...

  23. Month or two sounds good to me.. Think the previous problem was it was nearly weekly or every two weeks there was some kind of meet there.. I was always interested but alot of the time if i was a bit busy i would think to myself "well its alright if i dont go as there will be one next week" etc.. Just an idea as well could we do a wednesday.. A to break up the week a bit..

    Clean white

I use a cloth.. but did get a buffer for xmas, haven't used it yet.. Sure i have heard of people using a cloth for the main part then giving it a once over with the buffer at the end.. Ps white is a forgiving colour in the summmer.. in the winter it can be a bit of a pain as all the puddles and even the rain seem to have dark/black bits of mud and rubbish in them.. as in most colours the dirt really only show up if your close..
