I got pulled over a wile back due to my front plate and got a ticket.. (there is a thread on here somewhere... 9th of october/ on the ticket they put my DOB in the wrong part so the offence happened in 1978).. I have a legal "import" number plate, with the Legal standard code in the corner.. i paid the ticket as i couldn't have a day off to go to court and prove them wrong, but i did talk to the plates creators (craigs plates) the dvla and the local plod, and they all said it was ok..

The colour change would make the "spotted fourm interesting" Q: "saw a blue supe" A: "I was there then, but think i was red at the time".. can't see the later happening, due to the mentioned I.D'ing of a car.

Cheers Alan, But as far as i know, it is fully leagal, for all sizes.. text, spacing and border... I just don't know why it was just dismissed because it "looked small" even though it has the standard code on it that could have been checked.. I am tempted to just pay the fine, but why should I, i am sure its legal.. but to take it to court is a waste of time, and money for both me and the police..(especially when the details on the ticket are wrong on their behalf)..

Great start to the day!!! doh... On the way into london this morning there was roadside checks on the passing traffic, to be honest i don't mind this as i am sure lots of the people can't have insurance or a licence etc and it gets them off the road! Wasn't too surprised when they waved me over as it seems they were checkiing almost everyone.. Anyway, first thing said was your nnumber plate is to small.. Which to be fair is quite small but according to the place where i bought it and to the dvla, it is road leagal!!, it even carrys the BSAU145d std mark in the corner which is for imported car leagal plate conformaty (is that a word?).. So anyone know where I stand... i have contacted the company who i got the plate from to see what they say.. ALSO on the ticket (for £30, no points) not only have they got my name wrong they have also put my date of birth in the date of offence box.. (so accordinig to that this morning was nearly 30 years ago) What is the best corse of action.. I am sort of happy to pay the fine to save going to court just to get it out the way, but i am troubled that the police wouldn't even look into the legallity of the plate and the ticket details are so wrong.. any ideas

Doh, i am in crawley sunday, but wont get to look for the plate holder until i get back sunday night.. i will be back in crawley a week sunday (14th).. if not i'll be close to brighton on sunday the 4 nov.

Quality weekend.. the show was chav in parts but was made better by the company.. good to see the people i know, and put a face to a few new names.. cool pics everyone, and on the ones of mine you cant see the thousand of flies that seem to go for white cars in fields! £8....

well weather isn't looking too bad.. patches of cloud, but nice and warm... Traffic round here (A21/M20/M25) isn't to great at the moment as they have shut a part of the A21 off, so word of warning the M20/M25 junction (Brands hatch) may be a bit busier than usual later/tomorrow.. I am going to head down round 4ish to try and miss the worst of the traffic.. Catch you all later/tomorrow.. Stevie if i see him mate ill try and get you a autograph....

On the edfc you get 3 presets (like on you stereo) as well as being able to adjust "when ever".. on my setting i've played around to get the best kind of ride for the roads i use most ie 1, bad roads.. a little softer than usual 2, london roads.. bit harder than std especially at front to stop nose diving into the road over speed bumps 3, A roads/motor ways... hard ride, great for corners without roll.. And as said can adjust anytime to suit....

I have super streets with upper mounts and the Edfc.. well chuffed with the set up and makes a differance that i can really notice...
