SNAP.. Mine is going in for a TT & 6spd conversion in jan, For the same reason... I know what Gaz means by buying the tt but think your in the same boat as me! spent a bit getting the car how you want it and the loss of profit from that + not just the price of the difference from sale of n/a to a tt but also getting it back to how you want it can be alot and quite a pain! if i hadn't mod'ed mine so much i would have sold it and bought new.. but i've become too attached to the bugger now so conversion it is! Good luck with your project!!

no convoy that i know of mate.. may start a thread in a week or two to see if we could get one going.. (only trouble maybe amount of traffic and which route, due to location and closeness to rush hour!)

have spoke to a couple of people who have done the NA-tt conversion and they both have had problems with the gauges and have ended up swapping them for tt ones.. Do you still have the gauge cluster from this one? If so can you hold on to it for me just in case?? cheers

Had a NA for about 4 years loved it, never had a problem and quicker than a large amount of things on the road.. But yes... with shows/Santa pod, having a go /lift in other peoples turbos(tt and single) etc, etc, etc i am converting it to a tt and plan to do more track days/santa pod trips even a trip to the Nur' ring.. BUT I WILL NEVER LOOK DOWN ON ON N/As! (because they are the same height!) The N/a is still a great car and for its age the tec' the build and the looks its hard to beat, especially at the price..

as mentioned earlier i would recommend get the EDFC unit to change the settings in car! for that bit extra it really helps! i have all manor of roads around where i live/work.. kent country pot-holed gravel type lanes, the m25, london speed-bumps and over road worked roads, decent A roads and even Brands hatch.. you can store 3 types of settings, so i have just stored setting to suite most roads.. one for Good/fast roads one for normal and one for bad!

Sure you'll be happy with it Dean.. shout his praise a bit, but Paul has helped me loads over the past 4 years with my motor, mainly just "up keep" and a few mods (+ loads of advice), but have also seen him, Darren and the team working on pauls car and the other two Time attack cars plus the Rx7 and they def' know what they want to achieve and have a high standard.. (By no way saying that other garages don't!!, just that i know first hand of Garage whifbitz standard of work).. As said previously it will be the nuts when done, Enjoy it!!..

Had superstreets on mine for 2/3 years.. they have been great.. i have the Edfc unit to adjust the setting in car. really helps with s**t roads, speedbumps and odd outing on to the track..

I could do this at work.. I am a artworker/designer and studio manager at a graphic display company.. can do canvas or even photographic prints to pretty much any size.. (could do graphic effects on pics if requested?) If there is a large call for this maybe i'll talk to the mods for a "hobbyist"..

For anyone interested have just read that Asda are doing this tomorrow for £27, not sure if its all stores, but if there is one local may be worth a look to save you £13!

Think my kit makes mine rare in this country.. (explosion, apart from spoiler) also the dash and dials.. not too rare these days but just about to mod/swap from 93jspec NA auto to a TT 6 speed engine and gearbox..
