  1. yeah went to get some lunch at burger king and tested the car on the way. Was a bit wet for thrashing but stretched its legs a little. Boost problem seems all sorted with the new wastgate as well which is good.
  2. Whats the spec on that car?
  3. Will take the ecu mate, where about in west Sussex are you?
  4. Just unplug the trac motor on the throttle body, that will shut down the trac but you will get a warning light on the dash to tell you its not working. The ABS will be unaffected.
  5. Agreed the TDI dyno is the best bit of kit out there. The Dynapacks tend to be a bit off as the hub figure they give out in normally flywheel calculated. Rolling roads are good for reference but they never give a real road condition as they dont load the car correctly and trying to measure power through a tyre is never going to be accurate.
  6. Yes it was. It is 352.7 RWHP
  7. Looking really good Jamie.
  8. No its fine, this is a piggy back like the Emanage but much better. Great for autos or BPU cars, if its manual or big power would be better with a full stand alone.
  9. Ryan does an AEM Fuel - Ignition controller now which comes in around £800 fitted and mapped, much better than the Emanage and cheaper than a full standalone. Perfect for BPU
  10. Yes they are ceramic, should be the same as jamie's but it does feel more responsive.
  11. Shouldn't be, are your turbos deffinatly j spec? Steve's does spool better than yours maybe you have uk turbos?
  12. Makes a huge difference having the standalone ECU over the stock. We were able to put quite a bit of timing in and fueling in the high 11s.
  13. Its Chap's, really nice looking car. Wider front wings, really subtle kit. Drives really nice, great response and really smooth in TTC.
  14. Great result today, big thanks to Ryan for his efforts. Top job as always. Car spec: Bosch 044 pump 800cc Injectors Power FC Solaris 3bar Map Sensor Greddy Front Mount Stock Turbos in TTC Blitz air filter Air con deleted Blitz Boost controller 3.5" Titanium Exhaust It made: 421hp & 440ftlbs at 1.15bar of boost
  15. Hi Wez can you add my customers car please. Name: Chap ECU : Power FC Trans: Manual Engine: stock Turbos: Stock TTC Mapped: Ryan G Rating: 10/10 Power: 421.4hp Torque: 440ftlbs Boost: 1.15bar Fuel: V Power Thanks
  16. Really looking forward to this one, glad to see another Big Twin car with good spec.
  17. No worries mate, we got there in the end. Looks awsome now with the wider stance.
  18. Yes its fine. The new version of the HKS Racing dump valve is able to deal with up to 3 bar but also open at very low boost levels as well just like the SSQV can. Bit of an overkill for BPU but if your going single later down the line its worh it.
  19. Yep and then just run a vac hose from the top of the dump valve to the manifold and tee it in somewhere.
  20. The universal one requires a flange to be welded into the intercooler pipe work.
  21. Depends how much boost you want to run. What you have to bear in mind is if your running 1.5 bar and you lift off, the turbo is still going to produce some boost before it stalls. This means your intercooler pipe work will be seeing more like 2.0 bar when you lift off. This sudden surge in pressue with no where to go can cause pipes to pop off and in more serious cases like Colin's split the intercooler. Its your choice but a dump valve can prolong the life of the turbo, stop the turbo from stalling in between gears for quicker spool and stop damage from pressure spikes. You also dont have to have one that makes a noise. The HKS racing dump valve is almost silent
