Vid of my best run, if you turn the brightness up you may be able to make out the speedo in the bottom right.

He hit his max speed they just didnt record it! He must have been the only car there to reach its top speed within the mile.

Its deffinatly there, just need to get off the line better. With some practice and tweaking its possible. Only 1.5mph off.

    Thunder Road!

Just got back, very long day but really enjoyed it. Team supra did very well. 3 trophys between us and some really good speeds. I managed 193 mph on my first run with a really bad start. On the second I got off the line really well and knew it was going to be quick so didnt bother doing another run, just waited for the result which took forever. 198.55mph! @ 27.8 . Well happy with that but just short of the big 200, I did keep my foot down for a couple of secs after so would have hit 200 but just not quick enough. Jamie did what we expected and had the best 1/4 time of 11.5 and the best 1 mile time of 27.6, top speed 190mph. Chingy had an issue with the timing gear for some reason though and only one of his runs was logged That was 181mph but on one of his later runs he hit the limiter in 6th gear just before he crossed the line. We worked out that his top speed would have been around 191 just a shame it wasnt logged. Well done though Col. Well done to Robbie, Guigsy and Alem M who all did really well to and it was nice to put faces to names. Will get pics and the video of my run up soon.

Getting ready to leave now, will keep you updated. should be good if the weather holds out.
  7. Yeah go for it, be a good experience.
  8. Looking really good, I would loose the iacv for a drag car though. Not really needed and one less thing to give you trouble. Looking forward to seeing this at the pod.

I'm not going now, can't handle the pressure. think it's going to be close, let's just hope team supra kicks some ass.
  10. Well done mate. bet it feels fast now
  11. Stop worrying about hp figures, it's the way it drives that really counts.
  12. What a waste, you know the crank is the same as the TT dont you?

Go with the street wheels mate, getting off the line isn't as important as santapod and at the speeds we will be doing you will need the stability.
  14. The stock ecu can be left in to control the box
  15. The AEM will be fine mate.
  16. No, you don't need to. I did 500 miles on mineral oil in mine but it's not needed. You have to load the engine and bed the rings in at the begining or you may risk it not sealing properly.
  17. You can do more harm than good running in an engine like that. Most of the run in is done in the first 20 miles.
  18. I am located just outside of Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Just off the A23.
