  1. I didnt drive it, but went in it. There does seem to be very little power low down (off boost) but when it comes in its fine. The TDI graph looks quite close to others with the same turbo although again it does seem to be lacking power very low down. Changing the exhaust cam had little effect on the spool, it just seems to be a sluggish engine. If you dont rev it high enough when you change gear it falls off the power band, which is strange for this size turbo. I will have a measure of a stock head gasket Chris as I have one here, just to make sure.
  2. I measured a stock TT head gasket and it was around 1.4mm uncompressed. I did all this when I built my engine and I was working out the CR.
  3. Not just for singles no, a bpu car would benefit from 264 cams. You would get a bit more mid range and top end. The pullys would help as you could set them to get the most out of them with the stock turbos. This would need to be done on the dyno.
  4. The stage 3 are being made at the moment so about 1 month away.
  5. The bov must be connected to the manifold for it to work. The wastgate can be connected to the turbo housing or intercooler pipe work.
  6. We are now offering the full range of Mishimoto products including this alloy radiator, fitment and quality is superb The stock rads are becoming a bit old and tired now so this is a great upgrade and also looks nice in the engine bay. Its larger than stock so helps with cooling, has all the mounts for the stock fan shroud and comes with an uprated cap. It also has a fitting at the bottom for the fan sensor and a drain plug in the stock place. If you have a facelift car it will still fit no problems but you may have to trim the fan shroud slighly as they are a bit different. These will fit autos and manuals but if you have an auto you will also need to purchase one or two of my gearbox oil coolers. Price is £260.00 + £15.00 del I can also supply Hose kits in black or blue like the ones in the last picture, these come in at £79.99 and come with hose clips. We do alloy top hose kits with black hoses, these are £79.99
  7. Uk spec and j spec are the same, the vvti tt is slightly different.
  8. Jamesy had a 4" core and all the pipe work was custom made for the car. Not yet, that's the next job.
  9. It is the same dimensions as most 4" intercooler cores except for the thickness, so yes I think it should fill it fairly well. I can measure it for you so you can be sure. Thanks guys
  10. Well spotted, that dump valve wont work at all plumbed in there.
  11. Not sure on the 3.6L stoker TBH but someone should really let him know that the fan blade is broken. Cant be good for the cooling at all.
  12. The kit is a 3 Row 4" core rated to around 800hp. Ideal for BPU or single turbo cars. This can be used with the stock airbox with a small modification. It comes with everything needed for a complete installation. Intercooler Core Polished pipe work, Silicone hose and clips Power Steering Cooler Relocation kit Alloy Expansion tank All brackets, nuts and bolts. Full Fitting Instructions The price is £499.99 This is great value for a complete kit.
  13. I had the stage 1 in my car sometime ago, they are basically very similar to the HKS 264 but slightly improved. You should see very little low down loses but gain at the top end.
  14. Its gona be awsome, looking forward to this.
  15. Now thats a big turbo! Full boost at 6500rpm
  16. They have put the wrong picture on, thats a subaru engine bay.
  17. Can't do NA cams, don't have any blanks available for them. Sorry

    Gaming wheels

Fanatec Porsche turbo S wheel here, just got it and its really good. Works with Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. I wanted that as I have a 360 and PS3 and like playing Forza 3 and GT5. I got the Ultimate Edition which comes with the clubsport pedals, the quality is superb and its belt driven so is almost silent. They were limited to 2000 units though so not sure if they have sold out now. http://www.fanatec.de/
  19. No, a custom profile is more. Leave it with me, I will look into it.
  20. Not a single but I didnt want to be left out
  21. It can be made to fit, but the turbo is not worth it. There are better turbos that will fit straight on and the Hks manifold is too good to mess around with.
  22. Dont worry mate it will work out much better this way and it gives you time to save for a nice big billet wheel GT42.
  23. That was the plan Jamie, something like the GTX4508 but at the moment there doesnt seem much point as we cant use it to its potential. The plan was to stick the T04Z or similar on for now so we can use all the bits that came with the HKS kit so. everything will fit and work with no problems for the moment and it will drive really nice and give us around 700hp. Then next year sometime the plan is to build the engine and go for a GTX42 with a built engine, head and 4" DP.
