  1. That's right, on big engine conversions that require sections of the chassis legs cuting out you have to add box section to retain the original strength. This is a bit different as it's a relatively small hole so you would have to slide a metal tube inside the hole and weld that in place. The chassis leg is box section it's self so you can't get to the hole from the other side.
  2. You do have to be carefull making holes in chassis legs, it's a bit of a no no. Insurance company's don't like it and will use it as a reason not to pay out, it compromises the strength.
  3. No it's not, it has brackets that mount it.

    SRD 3.4L Stroker Kits

A 3.4L NA would be interesting but would not get you to 400hp. You would have to spend alot of money to get anywhere near that, nice idea but just not cost effective.
  5. Greddy do a pipe kit which replaces the 2 pipes from the intercooler to the q45 and will mate up to this intercooler fine.
  6. Pease pottage could be a good place, nice and central and can go for a nice drive down the A22 after. Can we make it a tuesday or a thursday at some point as well if poss.
  7. Won't be with this turbo but I think a bigger turbo may be on the cards.
  8. They look stock but as Keron says look for the HKS logo as it will be on there if they are.
  9. Raising the compression ratio with a thinner head gasket and skimming the head will have a big effect on the way the car drives. You would have to fit an aftermarket ecu though as the fueling would need to be changed alot. As people have said go bpu as this unlocks nice power gains for not too much money. Raising the compression will cost alot and maybe not give you what your looking for, although would be good to try it on a bpu car. I am running high compression on my car and love it.
  10. The main reason for the billet water pipe is to change the angle of it to make way for the intercooler pipe work and it does look cool. Thanks for the kind words about the polishing, I will pass them on. He is a perfectionist and takes pride in his work which does show. It's really coming along nicely now, once the intake runners are polished can start getting the other side back together.
  11. The bracket supplied with the kit moves the pipes out the way slightly to make way for the intercooler pipe. If you can't fit it for some reason the you may be able to bend them out the way a bit but be careful.
  12. It's hit and miss with air gun. The majority I have done won't undo with an air gun. Locking it and using a bar is the only option in that case but hopefuly the gun will do it.

    Lower Rad Pipe

Was it the black you were waiting for? I have the blue in stock
  14. It's ok don't worry just bought one. Thanks though.
  15. I will take the dash panels mate.
  16. Looking at that yes leave it till the dyno and adjust the exhaust pully as needed.
  17. That sounds backwards to me, I would go on the tight side as you dont want it to rattle. You need to shim them to the specs provided with the cam. You can get the cam card from BC if you ask them. Clearences all depend on how the cams have been machined to get the profile correct, if the clearences are wrong the cams willl not perform as intended. You also need to dial them in correctly as well but in this case just the exhaust side as its VVTI
  18. If its had a new master cylinder its probably not been adjusted. You can adjust it with the rod on the back of the peddle. Undo the retaining nut and turn the rod, if its high you want to go anticlockwise. Adjust it a bit then try it, get it where you want it then make sure you get gears ok, then tighten the retaining nut.
  19. Make sure you locktite those bolts that hold the butterfly in. There was thread on supraforums where one had come apart. Didn't end well.
  20. Ok mate thanks, will take it. How do you want payment?
  21. How much do you want for it and can you get it to me by Tuesday.
  22. Anyone have one laying around, need one urgently. Thanks Lee
  23. The problem with trying to bleed it is all the time air is in there is just keeps sucking it back round. You have a couple of options. The first is to fill the tank up put the lid on and run the car for about 10 seconds, turn it off and let it settle. Top up and repeat. Or I usually take the belt off the PS pulley and use an impact gun to turn the pulley enough to empty the tank. Do this a couple of times and it fills most of the system with out too much hassle then start the car to finish it off. You dont have to have the lid off to do it, the lid is designed to let the air out.
