  1. The car usually idles between 13.8 and 14.2. As the problem starts you can hear it in the idle and the afs go 15s, 16s and so on till eventually off the scale of the AEM gauge and the car is almost undrivable. This can be over 20-30mins I think but ricky can confirm. At this stage the fuel rail didn't apear to be warm at all, felt cool and fuel filter is warm but now where near hot.
  2. Fuel pressure is fine on ricky's car and when the problem occurs the fuel rail does not feel hot at all. This seems to be a different issue to Jamie as his only happens in traffic. Ricky can be driving the car any way for an hour or so and the problem is there, afr's start to drop slowly untill the car is undrivable. The injector thing is the opposite way round, high impedance should run cooler. Also when the car was first mapped it was mapped hot, this ment the problem was reversed and the car ran fine when after an hour or so and rich before that.
  3. Glad your happy with it and thanks for the feedback, really appreciated.
  4. Seen these first hand, very nicely trimmed and quality leather.
  5. May well do something soon, just waiting on another batch. When I have an eta I will get one going
  6. Ha, you know my NA will beat you even with a slipping clutch
  7. I think the key here is exactly what you said Jamie. Have one pump running all the time and the other controlled by the ecu, only running when needed. Also a fuel cooler on the return line for added cooling, the cooler the fuel the better tbh.
  8. You need a bigger side wall for more grip, I would get as large a profile as you can but you will be limited in 19s
  9. Nice car this, used to have big twins on like mine originally. Great result.
  10. Cool, its a hard life sitting in the sun all day.
  11. Just to clarify its just the DP thats Zircotec coated, I will get some pics up of this tomorrow. Its a quality bit of kit and the coating is excellent, bargin at this price.
  12. The loom that goes to the top of the hanger has 2 thick wires and 3 thin wires. The 3 thin ones are the sensor The larger are the pump wires, the White and black is earth the other is power. Use a power probe or a bit of wire with a fuse in it straight from a power source to run the pump.
  13. Thanks for the kind words guys, really appreciate it. Makes all the hard work worth while to see it all come together in the end.
  14. Yeah they are a lot quieter than the previous boostlogic setup.
  15. Thanks Jamie Glad your happy with it, makes all the hard work worthwhile.
  16. Well I finally got all the fuel system finished last night at midnight. Jamie came over this morning and we finished off some other little bits. He left me about an hour ago to put some more miles on the new engine before Ryan does some more mapping. Hopefully get some feedback soon on what he thinks
  17. I wouldn't have thought so, your probably just running less boost than before. You take it apart and inspect it though if needed.
  18. It's an ssqv, it has 2 valves inside. One opens at lower boost which is why it sounds different.
  19. The BW did sound nice, just like a HKS T51 The GT42 is really nice bit of kit though, even though it's a larger wheel it spools so well.
  20. Sounds like the fluid is getting too hot, I would fit a decent mocal cooler and it should be fine then.
  21. There will be, that stuff goes everywhere. Its one of the things I hate about powder coating engine parts. Having to clean then out afterwards before you fit them
