  1. Not far off, just finished the last version of the prototype and the fit is excellent. Will be starting on them tomorrow so should have some ready to go by next week. If any one is running a stock side mount intercooler can you let me know. The stock undertray has a cutout that goes around a bracket that holds the stock pipe work in place. Only want to cut this out if it's necessary.
  2. Will get some pics up of this once I receive it, should be tomorrow some time.
  3. Not slipping, when changing gear at high rpm the pedal sticks to the floor. Drive it normally and it's fine, although it may not be related to high rpm, just the force in which the pedal is being used.
  4. Ricky49 BobapplE Starbuck sdistc - Paid Lonbhold 75 - paid Supramatt - paid Rajinder - paid Geo - paid Mwilkinson - paid Manny - paid JamieP - paid Dr Doom - paid garethr - paid Stuliet - paid dandan - paid MisterSheen - paid Johnny G - Paid
  5. As Scott says put it in the water elbow. You can put it in the stock sensor position or if you want you stock gauge to work still you can have an extra boss welded on and fit it there. Have a look at Geo's build thats what i did with his one.
  6. Had a really good day today, thanks to everyone who helped out and brought food ect. Will get some pics up soon, see you tomorrow.
  7. The pipe size will all depend on the parts your using, intercooler/turbo/throttle body. You can get cheap universal pipe kits on eBay but they tend to be very thin wall meterial. Have a look on viper performance website, they sell all the different bends and straights. You can also buy pipe beading kits so if you have to cut any pipes up you can rebead them, alternatively you can get a bead welded round the end if the pipe.
  8. Right guys, getting all setup for this. Going to be kicking off around 12.00 midday, we are a little bit tight for space so will be using some extra parking thats a short walk from mine. As you turn off the main road we have a 1/2 mile lane that comes upto the unit. There is space in some places to the side of this and there is also another small industrial unit about half way up on the left. They have loads of space there so we are going to have a chat with them about using some of it. Hopefuly the wheather will hold out but if it doesnt we will still be doing the food anyway so you won't get hungry See you tomorrow.
  9. No the Syvecs cant do that, the only was is with a controller. There is one available, turns it into a tiptronic so you can change gear with padels. This will solve the problem if James can raise the funds. Maybe we should have a whip round, he needs £500.00 to make it possible.
  10. I have an RPS Street clutch for the NA is stock, let me know if you need one. It will hold up to 300ftlbs
  11. TDI's dyno is Hub figure, it doesnt guess a flywheel figure. Cant speak for the dyno pack though.
  12. I've got some spares mate, can bring them with me or post them
  13. Ah, ok. Only if its not too much trouble to bring it down. If its going to get in the way then dont worry.
  14. Did you manage to get one?
  15. Hopefully, will see what we can do.
  16. As James said this is just a mock up version so the final item will look much neater. There are a few adjustments to be made then will be ready to go so not long now. Looking at getting the first batch started next week.
  17. Its the torque covertor locking that your confusing as a gear change, as Scott says its 3 gears + overdrive. The chassis code is JZA 80 and the engine code is 2JZ-GE for the NA.
  18. It will match up fine with the greddy pipework, if sams wants to take the pipework I can split a kit up? Let me know if you guys want to work something out and I dont mind sending the bits out seperatly.
  19. Dont think you can stop the stock ecu changing gear low, the only way to do it is change manually or have a seperate gearbox controller.
  20. Looks awsome John, well done mate. Might be worth moving the dipstick. I routed mine so it come up through the runners of the manifold near the fuel rail.
  21. Not ready to go yet, just getting numbers together first. Its in production
