    Alternator Info

It is on some but the plug position and amperage can be different they can fit though Lexus LS400, Lexus GS300 will fit fine
  2. Yes you have to use sealant on the seal housing. Not the actual seal itself but the part that bolts to the block. Same sealant as used for the sump ect.. You can use the Toyota stuff or a good RTV sealant
  3. The syvecs is £1299+ vat + mapping + sensors Typical prices are £2500-£3000 installed mapped with sensors and extras
  4. Got a HKS 3.4L on special offer at the moment Snap it up lol.....
  5. You can do, its just a good indication the water pump is starting to fail
  6. Nice car to be following around on Dragonball, great road presence
  7. Thats just the oulet when the pump fails, they didnt all have them. Water will come out of that pipe when the water pump is faulty, put a short bit of hose on it and run it down the side of the alternator.
  8. The BC pro rods are very good, used them loads in big power builds including Jamie's and never had an issue. Yes Carrillo are considered the best and I used them in my own engine but for the money the BC pro are a no brainer. I wouldn't use a lightened flywheel with a single plate clutch Get your self a decent multiplate clutch kit if your going for big power
  9. Thank you Really looking forward to this now, been so busy I havnt had time to think about it. Getting excited now
  10. Great, thanks for the info guys Have contacted Branners so hopefully will all be sorted Just need Tyson to PM branners to confirm he is happy to do this
  11. Just spoke to Steve M and he wants this: Couple of things we need help with: How can we get the ticket? Is there someone passing that can pick it up and get it to Ashford where we are meeting in the morning? Whats the deal with changing names and reg number on the ticket?
  12. You need to get the battery checked first If the battery is dead and your trying to drive the car on just the alternator then this isn't good Then look at the alternator once you know the battery is good Give me a bell today if you want
  13. Give think automotive a call they will help you out 020 8568 1172 Top of the tank will be a banjo bolt and you can use a -6 banjo
  14. There is alot of interest in these bits so please let me know if anything is wanted Thanks
  15. Some handy storage, can never have enough lol... Tool boxes all in place and some new equipment for the ramp, Oil drainers and exhaust stands
  16. We then prepped the floor ready for levelling With the help of Jamie we levelled the floor with self levelling compound. The two post ramp was then installed We then painted the hole workshop and used 2 pack epoxy paint for the floor
  17. Realised I havnt updated this thread, so thought I would post a few pics of the changes to the workshop end of last year. We opened up the workshop to make room for a ramp and also took up the wooden floor James having fun with the floor lol Ashley hard at work Not quite sure what James is upto here lol Once the wooden floor was gone we already had some concrete down but had to dig down a bit further for the ramp, what a mess that was!!
  18. Thanks. It has and further since then as well, will update with some current pics
  19. No its not the stock one, its a Suzuki one but its just a basic square design so you can use a universal one. Then just cut a hole for the neck
  20. As this car is having an audio system, twin fans ect we wanted to make sure it had the power. We also wanted a nice stock look for the interior so didn't want a big ugly battery just siting in the boot. We went for a twin battery instal so we could use 2 smaller batteries and put them where we wanted. Custom battery trays were fabricated to house the Kinetik battery's Battery trays finished and painted Custom SRD sub box with Alpine R Type Slim Sub Washer bottle mounted In rear panel with stock filler kneck Boot floor trimmed for sub
  21. As Jamie says its the boost that can lift the head, the Do Luck car is in stock cams so would be around 50hp more with cams in it Its running about 1.5-1.6 so you should see 700hp no probs I have had cars running 1.7 bar of boost on stock head bolts for some time but that was on an untouched engine. If they have reused the old head bolts then they should have measured them to make sure they havnt stretched too much.
