  1. Gearbox is with our specialist but he's very busy so can't look at it just yet. Car now has a stock gearbox in it and John is collecting next week.
  2. Yeah looks good under there, will take some pics tomorrow
  3. That's actually my fault as the exchange rate has put the prices up now I've corrected it on the site
  4. We have actually done a prototype for this already and will be ready very soon. Will put a thread up for it this week with details.
  5. It's the gearbox fault Simon as already discussed
  6. I have thought about this tbh although being a different box designed to go on a different engine, we would have to redesign the whole kit The 6 speed came on the 3UZ-FE I've been tempted to drop a whole engine and box in a supra Would be a good car with a VVTI V8 and 6 speed flappy paddle
  7. Ryan has done some work in Dubia with the earlier 6 speed box and been running 700hp with no issues. This box has increased clamping force of 25% over the previous version. Its used in a couple of other cars in the USA that run a lot of torque from stock as well and they have been pushing it quite far
  8. We were fighting with the auto gearbox a bit but once it's sorted with put it back on the dyno. They never quite reach the max they are rated to but would expect this turbo to do around 800-820 at the hubs with the right spec Deans got close, just his clutch gave up. It's not always about peak power though it what it does under that. This turbo spools very well and has a great torque curve
  9. Lol... That's how the hub dyno works. You divide the torque figure by the ratio It was 550ftlbs but we had a problem with the TC or gearbox hence the slipping
  10. Around £1500 second hand. Not that many around unfortunately but we didn't ever expect this to be selling in big numbers The good this with this box is its bullet proof, changes gear very fast up and down and requires no modification to run big power, we expect 1000hp capabilities
  11. used but very low mileage, although that doesn't really matter as they seem to never break lol....
  12. Not yet as waiting for syvecs to release a firmware update. Once we know if we can use just the syvecs to run the gearbox then we will know costings. I have two gearboxes here in stock though ready for the first ones once it's all confirmed.
  13. If they have recommended -3 I'm sure it will be fine
  14. Yeah I have already spoke to him on PM Tim and advised the same
  15. Have a look here, this is the one we did for John's car, gaiter is slightly different but gives you an idea http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?315418-John-Fisher-s-SRD-Project-Vantage/page10
  16. Terminals have plastic covers so no danger and the only reason you can see the battery is because the boot carpet has a hole that the stock sub stuck through A replacement boot carpet will sort that and then you wouldn't even know it was there.
  17. Yours may be too big but you could trim the rear seat a bit
  18. I did Xylene with my own car years ago, 30% mix and mapped for it on the AEM Wouldn't recommend it now though as with Fuel flex sensors and an ecu like the syvecs, you can use ethanol and the ecu will automatically adjust fueling, timing and boost The risk before was the mixture changing and the ecu cant adjust for it. As you said 10% mix is fine to add for extra safety and no adjusting but i would still use ethanol

  20. It's only because of the high stall and the fact the dyno doesn't load the car like the road The hub dyno will give an accurate power curve and now has a stock TC 1.00ar is perfect
  21. Deans 6466 gen 2 1.00 AR on pump fuel 427 ftlbs at 4000rpm
  22. It's a sleeve thats fitted into the compressor housing. OCD works do the modification It's very similar but not the same.
  23. Well car was on the dyno yesterday for some mapping now that the 4" midpipe was all done. We did pump fuel first then 50% ethanol mix Have to say it did very well, more than expected. 657.8 bhp 570ftlbs on pump fuel v power 701.5 bhp 630ftlbs on 50% ethanol Very good for a completely stock engine and stock cams. Just shows what a strong engine and a big turbo can do. Just need to change your stickers now Lee
