FMIC made a big difference on mine at BPU as well but it is a good idea to get the two cooling panels to direct the air through the rad (they also look very bling).

Hey guys lifted this off Sussex Jap Club which I am a member of, if any one wants to go its going to be on all night with camping etc. Could be fun. As stated above, the date will be Saturday 15th September. Starting at around 2.30pm. We have 6 acres at our disposal for the day. We have a 1 acre area of paddock that will be cleaned up and set aside for the show and shine area. We will also have another area of similar size that will be set aside for camping on site. The pub will supply us with chemical toilets. Which leaves us an area of around 4 and a half acres of car parking space. The landlord also runs an outdoor catering service and will provide both a burger van and a BBQ to serve hot food as well as an ice cream van and the on site sweet shop for the kids. He has also said that if we make a contribution towards the entertainment he will lay on a band and a disco to take the events into the small hours. As per the original thread, this site has fantastic kids facilities with regards the childrens play area and the petting zoo, so this will be a really good family day out as well as a good jap car day. The site is also much easier to find than last years venue, it is on the main A272 road between Haywards Heath and Uckfield. I will arrange signs to be printed and erected from Haywards Heath to the west, East Grinstead to the north, Tunbridge Wells to the east and the A22 from the south. I have asked the landlord if we can get together with him one night next week, he can do any evening except Wednesday, so as soon as Dyney lets us know what evening he can do I will get this arranged. To start with, this thread will be on both the Sussex Scoobies site & the Sussex Jap Club site, as we will be the two clubs organising the event. Unlike last year, we have a perfect location, with all of the facilities needed to make this a great day. Hopefully a day that now the annual Bolney meet has disappeared can be a really big day in the Jap car calendar".

Your correct they dont have rolled edges and if its the pipes from the turbo to the intercooler then yes its a pain. The pipe on the Aristo runs down straight to the intercooler and not through the wing also. I used the stock piping for this and just adjusted it where needed. If you can get the stock intercooler piping from an Aristo it would get you by for now and works a treat. Thanks Lee

Not quite sure what you mean (I wasnt talking about a stock hard pipe kit) I have done an XS Power Single Turbo kit on my mates aristo with a XS power intercooler and the pipe kit I got off ebay was perfect. It came with 90, 45, 20 degree and straight pipes with hoses and clips, although the hoses are shite you need to change that for samco. You can also buy 90 degree pipes for about £12 on there own.

You can buy intercooler piping on ebay either in a kit or single pipes and then just cut it down to size to fit.

Just to answer your question, when I had my problem I fitted a defi oil pressure gauge to check what was happening, when the oil was warm and I was slowing down and dipping the clutch the gauge would read 0 oil pressure for a second then go up to about .5 bar, and thats all I would get at idle. When on WOT I would still get 4 bar even with a mangled pump. The stock Oil pressure light never came on even when the defi went to 0 and shouted at me. Thats just rubbish!

I had this problem on my car and it was because of an oil pump issue. The FMS should not leak at all if fitted correctly. I had an issue on my car where the oil became contaminated with small metal fragments which went through the oil pump. This chewed up the pumps internals giving me a drop in oil pressure but the oil escaping from the pump built up behind the main seal causeing it to leak (badly). Dropped all its oil on the road the first time so I tried all the tricks. Glue, Sealent and centre punching the oil pump caseing around the seal to hold it in but still leaked. In the end I pulled the engine and found the mangled pump and the metal in the engine. In the process of rebuilding it now. Hope this helps Lee

Hi, thats the timing belt not the drive belt on ebay. The drive belt is the one that runs the a/c, power steering pump, alternator etc. Thanks Lee

Has anyone got a drivebelt tensioner for an AUTO J-Spec supra? my ones got a bit creeky...... Its for an Aristo but they are the same as the supra. Thanks

It should come on without the sensor, make sure you have it plugged in the right place on the control unit. Lee
