  3. Well done guys, some very good times there.
  4. Would like to have got the water injection on before the you start running 2bar but we will see lol
  5. Definatly carrillo rods and I would use better pistons too. As Chris has said before the cp's and made of crapy material and the rings are generic and need fileing. With the money going into the build I would use Jun/Cosworth or HKS, the Malhe pistons are very good. If you want to buy cheaper pistons then wiseco would be a better choice over cp anyday
  6. I have the same scoring on my pistons and bores with the CP pistons. I have also seen this problem on other engines with inexpensive pistons. I wouldnt use CP again. Good choice with Mahle.
  7. Only if the piston rings are shot You may just have oil left in there from when the turbo seals let go.
  8. Well done Matt, was a great day Good to see a mix of cars.
  9. Depends on the make of the wheel the design of the wheel wheather its a 1 piece, 2 piece, 3 piece etc etc.... Going by the wheel width I would say 35 on the front and more like 29 on the back to get them to fill the arches better but you would need to know what offsets they do. I take it its a show car as it will not be a nice ride on 20s
  10. I always take the whp figures in the US as fwhp and that seems to be fairly close to ours. Dash looks great Jamie
  11. Hi and check out the classified section. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=38

    1JZgte

    Twin parallel turbos.
  13. Sounds like its spun a shell, I would say new crank, new rod (on the one that spun), new bearings and you should be ok. But you will find out when its apart. If it is det related then you may need a piston as well.
  14. Nothing wrong with an autobox on a small single. As long as you fit oil coolers

Hi and Yes you can change an auto to manual although it can be quite expensive. The conversion including labour would be around £3000. The auto box has been proven to 500bhp and 500ftlbs with coolers but beyond that it may suffer. Its the heat thats the problem, you can get built auto boxes from boostlogic if you want loads more power. Hope this helps

    rr results!

Mine made around 356fwhp (1 bar) at bpu with stock j spec turbos. There was a bit more to be had from the injectors but the j spec turbos are limited to around 1.1bar unless you want then to fall apart
  17. mate, thats what you get for having such a fast car.
  18. lol.. glad you stuck it out because it was the only thing that got me going sunday morning, nice sausage and egg roll. Was good to meet you to mate.
