  1. I’ve learnt it saves time and money in the long run Sometimes I have it transported down with https://www.instagram.com/roadandracelogistics?igsh=MXJrZmF2c3AzaHE1eA== Other times drive it down with someone else and get a lift back. But always collect it myself and drive it back after any work, that’s the fun bit! Lol
  2. I live in the West Midlands, and I've learnt over the years since being an owner from 2004, that distance doesn't factor when you find a garage you trust. I always ship mine down to SRD, they are near Brighton. https://www.srdtuning.com/
  3. Only a few days to go on this, last chance to get tickets by Friday this week!
  4. Any car is welcome mate! Be great to see you again!
  5. Depart the evening of Thursday 8th May on a Brittany ferry out of Portsmouth. Overnight ferry to France with a Club cabin with window. Arrive St Malo at 8am Friday morning with the usual drive to the hotel via a lunch stop. Saturday drive out for lunch and back to hotel. Sunday drive to Cherbourg via lunch stop and some sightseeing. Sunday 6.15pm Ferry from Cherbourg arriving in Poole Harbour for 9.30pm. As usual, to help make the trip run as smoothly as possible, and a fun few days of driving, all routes will be provided for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The details of which, along with the TomTom satnav files, will be posted just before the event. The cost of each ticket £799, which is a bargain compared to other Euro trips on the market, covers 2 people in one car, twin/double room, breakfast, ferry return ticket, and TomTom satnav routes. SHOP NOW OPEN TO PURCHASE TICKETS
  6. SRD sell the Koyo replacement air con condenser. https://www.srdtuning.com/product/koyo-aircon-condenser-supra-mk4/
  7. They aren't pots, they are the bulbs mate. The button should just 'pop off' I'd of thought, like all the other dash buttons, but it will be old and fragile now due to age.
  8. If you could let me know how you're going to mod the clock spring I'd appreciate it, as there's only 6 pins, and I've yet to figure out how to add more?!?
  9. BUMP! I actually have 2 UK spec auto box's. £250 each One is collection from SRD, Haywards Heath. The other is collection from the West Midlands.
  10. Fair point, could well be the wiring, but the strange thing is that this is happening more and more, and as far as I know no one has been able to get to the bottom of it. Even Mike at SRD couldn't crack it on Benjy's car, which I would be sure Mike would have been able to nail it down. I'm sure I saw someone after a UK auto ECU the other day in the UK Supra whatsapp group, if you want to sell one of the two you have? I think I still have my original one sitting in my office, as I sold you my spare/backup lol
  11. Jesus! Lol Homer you have 100% convinced me to never build a Frankenstein car! Lol
  12. We keep seeing this more often, and I don't know of anyone who has come up with a reason/fix for this. If you plan to keep the car for long term, I would fit an aftermarket ECU like a Link or Syvecs, and just forget about it and enjoy the car.
  13. The only thing I can think it may be is, on a UK spec the stock traction control also operates the rear brakes, so there may be a restriction due to the stock ABS/Traction control mate.
  14. I agree with Mike and Raddys, change out all your old coolant hoses, and check the condition of your radiator and rad cap. The only spares I take are fluid top ups. 5 litres of coolant, 2 litres of oil, brake fluid, power steering fluid. I manage to fit all these under the boot plastic and carpet, packed tightly around the spare wheel. Mike said after he had to go into the boot to fit new fuel pumps "Burna your Jenga game is strong!". It's like a jigsaw puzzle under there lol. I always carry a lithium battery tyre pump, and a lithium battery jump start, so maybe worth investing in those also. The lithium ones are more expensive, but take up less room, and traveling across Europe for days in a Supra with 2 peoples luggage is a tight squeeze! For breakdown cover there's only one to choose, and that's RAC Comprehensive Plus.
  15. We may already be there, I'll have to check with Trick, meet you at the bar mate
  16. I'm guessing you've left it too late, tickets usually get removed from the club shop once an event is all booked.
  17. I have to say it's worth it for driveability and fun, some of the best money I've spent on the Supra
  18. I think the cost is easily justifiable mate. Supra’s are now £30k - £60k cars now, so adding an £8k ZF conversion isn’t a lot of money in the scheme of things. You also only need to add a CANTCU to control the gearbox, and not a link or syvecs, you use the stock ecu for everything else.
  19. Hi Alex, I'm afraid I don't produce it anymore. The ZF box conversion is a much better route now, and what I did to my Supra
  20. Yes you are right in thinking that the indicators are on the left hand side on the US Spec Supras. I'm not sure whether the wiring in the loom plug will be the same though. I'd just buy a US one and see if it fits and the wires match. If not, then you could just de-pin the wires on the US stork unit, and re-pin to match the cars loom plug.
  21. @Homeryou and Kevin should bring your cars for the full weekend at Yakushi show! https://www.mkivsupra.net/store/category/4-yakushi-show-2024/
  22. You will need to either phone or email him, as I'm sure he doesn't answer PM's.
  23. Personally I'd just buy OEM ones, they just work A couple of places to buy them new: Left Hand side: https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/6896019585 Right Hand side: https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/6895019895 Or from the UK, Paul sells them: https://www.garagewhifbitz.co.uk/product/toyota-supra-boot-strut/
  24. Stupid question, but have you tried this with the dipped beam switched on? Because with the dipped beam not switched on, when you pull on the stalk to flash, the dipped beam AND main beam should flash. So you may think you have main beam flash, but really its the dipped beam you are seeing flash.
  25. This is becoming quite common now. I know an owner that has tried swapping multiple ECU’s, traction ECU’s, speed sensor on the box, and still the problem persists. It must be something we are all missing for some reason. I thought it could be an abs error, but also apparantly not. So no idea what’s causing this problem for some owners.
