Once you train hard mate you will be glad of the food in the morning. Sounds horrible, but you might need to force it down at the start if you cant manage it, but trust me you will need to food.
On your training, please please dont fall into the 95% of guys training routienes hitting arms and abs with a bit of chest and nothing else. big compounds should form the basis of your training and maybe chuck a few isolation moves like bicep curls in if you have anything left in the tank at the end. By big compounds I mean, squats, deadlifts, bench press and gorilla/military press.
Humous is ok, but has a lot of fat. Cashew nuts are the same but good for extra calories. Tuna and cottage cheese are fine if you can stomach that every day. I like snacking on natural yoghurt, nuts, fruit, and penut butter on ryvitas. Soya nuts are quite good too but well bland
