  1. The owner is more crazy and want his head testing
  2. I went with a FMIC when I had the car and did notice a big improvement.....however looking back I expect this to be due to my old SMIC being knackered and anything else being an improvement no matter what route I went down. I went with the FMIC because of the deal I got on a Blitz unit that I couldn't really turn down. Given what has already been mentioned, trying to better Toyotas excellent setup with a FMIC.....the SMIC is probably the better option as it utilising whats already there. One thing I would say is upgrage the intake pipes if you go down the SM route as thats where I noticed the biggest change. The old silicone pipes almost felt like they started to swell when pressure started to build where as the metal pipes stopped this and made the car feel a lot more positive on boost
  3. My advise to you would be to not do it on a budget and keep your BPU setup and spend the money getting that running sweetly
  4. Senior analysis consultant (CRM agency)
  5. Let me guess, that was your 30th set pushed to failure with forced reps and a drop set.....hello Mr Cortisol
  6. Sounded trollied.....wouldnt complain though
  7. Admire the work thats gone into it, but really not my cup of tea

  13. With sdistc on this one......they are not required at all, providing you are getting enough food for your protein throughout the day which is very very hard to do. They are used to supplement an already solid diet. In my case though as most others, I do rely on them to get my extra protein at times. Ignore a lot of the frankly ridiculous claims on a lot of supplements as well, most of it is pure crap and marketing drivel
  14. myprotein.co.uk get the total protein powder
  15. 3 - tvr tuscan s 14 - DB9 22 - 350 z
  16. My take on this is that you train to succeed not train to fail. By training to failure, all you are teaching and training your body to do is shut down and fail ie not complete another rep. I used to train in a similar way until I thought about the stress and effect this has on your CNS and that I dont want to fail at a set of heavy squats, I want to suceed with a good strong set without someone helping me. I know thats not really a technical explanation but thats my take. I am much more on the incremental increase in weight bandwagon and completing a good quality set of reps maybe dropping 1-2 reps short of failure and maximising time under tension, thats not to say that I never do a balls out brutal set to failure.....just not very often
  17. try 20 rep squats or 5x5 squats that makes the leg press look like a sissy's machine
  18. I reckon he's not short of a few bob. Great thread and great cars
  19. I am sure they are compoased of lots of strands of rubber from what I remember as a child dismantling one
  20. Yeah food will be the same but may have to jiggle things about slightly. If you are just getting back into it, start of very slowly, perhaps monday, wednesday, friday in the gym and full body workouts perhaps 3 sets of 10 for each exercise. Just ease in slowly or you will regret it the next day No it doesn't
  21. I go for 45 Mins dude dont talk to anyone, dont waste time and get in the zone trust me, if you train right, with the right intensity, 45mins to an hour is more than enough + test levels start to drop after an hour and Cortisol rises You just need to prepare food for on the go diet is key my freind
