  1. Sorry lol... Ok car is back at Whifbitz at the moment, having the next part sorted out. Buy buy to the over the top intake manifold and hello to a nice looking Hypertune side intake and throttle body . Then it's in with the digi dash and MOT time then it will be back with me and I will get more updates and pics too.
  2. Looking very good mate. I think you need to get car door sills like the whifbitz ones, that would just finish it off But very smart all the same!
  3. Noz, I don't think it's true that paying to install your na-t conversion is a waste of money, I have mine built as I didn't have the space, time or knowledge of everything needed and if I had I think I would have hit some very big issues along the way. I also don't believe that paying for a proper kit that you call it is a waste of money, would rather have a good quality turbo and manifold than a cheep eBay Chinese one! And as for hoping for more than 400bhp with no hassle, I would say more cost than hassle. I'm now on 474bhp and cloning but now there is a lot to mod to get it higher. It's all down to what you want to spend and what you like!
  4. Yes sorry, I promised I would update this the other day with pics, vids and updates... As soon as I get in tonight I will
  5. well done, it sounds good. Did you see my toy there when you were hanging around ... I'm still waiting on bits to be sorted. Sounds like there is a lot more still to come too
  6. I have just had a mail from the people that sold it to say they previous owner had it set to run in manual change mode, normally used as overdrive function. Does this mean that there will be something unplugged and if so where? Or an ECU map?
  7. Hmmmm struggling now with working this out and not having or wanting to drop the box out yet wires all seem to be in place... Is there any obvious things I may have missed ?
  8. Excellent cheers guys we will take a look and see what we can find.
  9. Well the new project supra is an auto but only seems to have one gear so very slow pull away but does have top end. There is no kick down at all or gear change... Before the box gets ripped out and a new one put in, as this is how it seems to have been built/set up, what can we look for to see that it isn't the gear box? And Ecu wires ect that we can plug back in... Any help would be nice
  10. Does any one know this car? We just bought it as a project car and wanted to see if anyone on here knows anything about it. We were told it was used to do a top speed run? It's an auto TT Jspec.... But the main question is, if you know it, who built the auto box? It pulls away so slow but and has just the one gear in drive, I assume this is to get a good high speed but it's no good for driving around town. What mod would they have done to make it run like this and apart from putting a new box in is there a quick way to sort it? Any help would be appreciated
  11. Well the first oil change has been done and the base map slightly changed as it was stalling when hot and the fans kicking in, running at a higher idle now... All seems good just more miles to add and another oil change to sort.
  12. It is... Have to put some miles on it first and have some oil changes
  13. How many times do you think I will look at it out of the window today lol
  14. It's back home yay It was a good drive back, it just wants to go... Can feel once it's mapped it will pull so much took it easy and was a good boy though but it was hard to be gentle with the right foot. It did start to stall when I got about a mile from home each time I ended to stop at lights, think it was just really hot and not running the correct map prob didn't help.
