  1. I assume it was a Toyota seal. It looks a little different like I said but I think it looks better than the old one. Apparently the full curing time is 21 days.
  2. UPDATE: Turned up at RAC/Auto Windscreens at 1pm. Man let me inspect the new screen. Genuine Toyota and he said that he'd have been surprised if it hadn't been. He looked over the car, checking off points of damage etc and I watched him drive the car into the workshop. Went for a walk and, about 2 and a 1/2 hours later, it was done. Car was parked in exact same spot. Which is always nice. The screen 'looks' lovely. I say 'looks' because it's so pristine it's actually hard to see the glass. I was so pleased I even purchased some lovely new wipers to go with it. Seal looks a tad different but better than the old one. "Any negatives, Martin?" Yes, actually. Big Macs don't taste as good as I remember. Goodbye.....
  3. Now imagine the horror that is three moths about the same size of those spiders in your bathroom!
  4. 12k for my almost stock auto TT in red? Anyone? Hello......

    Roadworks

    Overnight. Like the Japanese.
  6. This must be a new record. Nine hours on and it's still for sale.
  7. Found this, Ewen. http://www.allamericanracers.com/dino/case.html Scroll down a little to where it says 'Meanwhile'.
  8. Wasn't it a variant of an F1 car that raced in the Indycar races?
  9. F1-GSD3, RLTC and a right foot that isn't made of lead. I think that covers all the bases.
  10. It's probably not as fast as a well sorted small single though.
  11. The noise! http://www.topgear.com/content/timetoburn/sections/videos/65/broadband_wm.html Choose the option for a standalone player. It's jerky if you stream it.
  12. There's one reason right there. Not Matt per se but......
  13. Who said anything about selling? I was only asking about it's value. Not sure on this myself. It's difficult to remove due to the way it was wired up.
  14. 1995 JDM TT with auto box. 110k on the clock although you could probably knock some off for the KM conversion. Goodies include RLTC and a Greddy Ti exhaust, 17" stock wheels and UK brakes. In the last two years it has had a Chris Wilson SMIC, new coil packs, new cam belt and tensioner, new crank pulley and tensioner and the auto box is a refurbed UK spec with approx 8-10k on it. It has two pinprick dents near the fuel cap and the usual stonechips on the bumper. It needs the Valve Stem seals doing and could probably do with a suspension refurb like IanC had done recently. Would it be worth the outlay of fixing the faults to get more or should I just sell as is?
  15. Ring Sky and ask for the Ensign direct claims line number. As Ensign didn't require a reference number I could PM the number if asked. I'm booked in for Thursday afternoon in Wakefield with an RAC/Autoglass centre. I found some 'bad things' about Glassline on the net so I'm happy not to be dealing with them. FWIW they wanted me to pay £60 excess and £137 for the difference between what they would cover and the glass I need! Ensign direct will do it all for £60. As for the glass, I was told that mine will be a faint blue tint with a green stripe at the top. The green is obvious but I've never really noticed the blue. If they don't get it right first time then I shan't be leaving until it's sorted.
  16. Ignore the above. I rung Sky back and they had given me the wrong number. Rang Ensign claims directly and they are sorting me a fitting time with the parts I want and nothing extra to pay over the £60 excess.
  17. Just rang and they need to get a quote as Ensign (with Sky as the broker) will only pay out up to £200 or £140 with me paying my £60 excess. Obviously, if it gets stupid then generic glass with OEM trim/seal.
  18. Any idea if they'll do it today or am I going to have to wait? Live a bit out of the way so really need the car. Don't fancy risking a drive with an 8" crack in the centre of the screen!
  19. Never had this before so who do I call, how long do they take etc etc? Is it best to claim off the insurance? Need advice pronto as I'm covering at work and don't need this right now!
  20. Blimey! You totally under-priced that even with the issues. ....but, needs must and all that.
  21. ...and btw. It's not about 505ponies being enough. It's about getting away from this f**king scene. Besides, they have their mod paths too. And no lag.
  22. What do you need three starter motors for?

    My 1st buy

I've sussed it. School holidays and the bored kids strike again.
  24. I laughed when the bloke called him Dickie.
