  1. There is an easy remedy for that. If you are even slightly ahead of them as the speed up just start to 'wander' into their lane. They soon back off.
  2. Interesting. Most information on E85 leads to there being a net power loss along with a reduced mpg figure. Obviously, like the Koenigsegg car, the high power cars will have been designed to run it without the adverse side effects. For normal cars though the only gain is 'cheaper' pricing and the smug green credentials. The 'cheapness' doesn't facto in the costs of producing it in the first place. There is massive cost there along with a a huge power requirement (which could conceivably negate any environmental savings). Also, according to a report I read, the US (for example) does not have enough land available for producing E85 from crops with which to fuel vehicles.
  3. No idea who you are but well done. I get to up my own shocking count to which is always nice.
  4. At first I was thinking WTF and then it came around the corner. Brilliant.
  5. How is that even possible without becoming negatively shallow?
  6. Nah. It's just a print out of one persons avatar with a big X drawn on it. Anyhoo....back on topic. As a daily driver the Supra can get a surprising amount of shopping in it. Those rear seats did serve a purpose after all.
  7. Ha ha... He wouldn't be first though.
  8. Same here. Don't you find you get used to it though and end up wondering why everyone else is so damn slow?
  9. TBH I think it is a good thing. Even as an F1 fan I think a massively expensive, elitist sporting parade of corporate logos would be in shockingly poor taste right now.
  10. Pretty shocking isn't it? Kinda puts our own troubles into perspective.
  11. Same here. I also killed my brother just in case he ever drove it.
  12. Totally stock (apart from the Greddy exhaust) red Supra.
  13. Yeah, Imi. Why don't they deserve it?
  14. Absolutely. Longer evenings in winter and even longer in summer.

    The Big Bang Theory

Every season is worth a download. Edit: Actually I would say that it is a better thing to buy the boxed sets than to download them. However you wind up with them you will not be disappointed.
  16. Lucky you went that route. Else you'd just be taking the p*ss.
  17. How about cars and gadgets that are powered by us? The more you use stuff or the faster your drive, the shorter you'd live!
  18. I once dated a lass who was like Paris Hilton. I say Paris Hilton but really she was more Batley Travelodge.
  19. My box is a clean, environmentally sound box. You're all welcome to move towards it.
  20. Hmmm.... Like a super-KERS system? Would you need bigger cars to power bigger houses? What about using them to compliment solar power? I have an idea that one day we'll get a box, a small box, no bigger than a lunchbox and that will contain a super-efficient battery that powers everything you own. It'll run your car, your home, your gadgets and will last, I dunno, a year on typical use before recharging is needed. Everyone gets the same power so that we do away with haves and have-nots and losing your power-box will be a big deal.
  21. TBH I think nuclear is the least worst option. I don't think anyone will be particularly happy about it but will accept it if it means they don't have to change their lifestyle. So, energy solved. Lots of leccy for battery powered cars. What about lubricant for them once the oil goes? That super-fine sand from Greenland (or was it Iceland) that flows like liquid?
  22. But where will the electricity come from in the future? Aren't we already running short of coal and I don't see a rush to embrace nuclear energy. Solar and wind power may look good but I doubt they'll ever make the amount of energy that we currently consume.
  23. I'm getting into the horse and cart business. You might laugh now but you'll see. Oh and 10% off carts for all members with a petrol starved mkiv when the time comes.
