  1. Carl Sagan's Cosmos FTW.
  2. Some stunning images at the site below. In pic 27, how the hell will they move that boat? http://www.theatlantic.com/infocus/2011/03/japans-earthquake---the-aftermath/100023/
  3. Hey! Why not go out and rev it. When she comes out, smash your own car up just to show her how hardcore you are. She'll not bother you again.
  4. Isn't the usual internet response to a situation like this to kill her, her family, her extended family, their families and everyone they know or have ever known. With fire.
  5. Thanks Chris. Makes sense now. You don't know anything about torque do you? (just kidding)
  6. Chris, The whole BHP per ton confuses me (probably because the only car mag I read is Evo). I read (ages ago) that the Caparo T1 had more HP per ton than a very Veyron but when you stuck a driver in it that dropped considerably but the Veyron doesn't! Is that correct? If so, can you explain it in layman’s terms to me, please?
  7. It looks like a Salamander. BTW, people who repost stuff that has been on more than twice should be banned. Just sayin'...
  8. Save the cost of a cinema ticket and pop down to Sainsburys. They're selling Sons of Anarchy S1 for a tenner.
  9. This has been getting good reviews. Even from Radio 4!
  10. ...and it still works. Might see if I can buy it all back of my grandfather and play Impossible Mission again.
  11. 10gb a day! WTF do you people do all day? I've only ever used 10gb once in all my time on the net and that was over a one month period.
  12. Rob, I had the official Commodore monitor. Jealous?
  13. My Grandad has my old one and he still uses it several times a week. Even the old 1540 disk drive is still going. We still have challenge matches on Racing Destruction Set when I visit.
  14. I was hoping for pics of a nice Minestrone or perhaps a cream of tomato. These'll do though.
  15. *Shakes Rob's fist with rage*
  16. I think that what is actually expected to happen is that people will continue to pay for fuel at the expense of pretty much everything else. That's luxury goods, eating out, basically anything other than the essentials. This'll have an impact on the economy in that it won't grow as 'predicted' by the Tories. There was a good article about this earlier in the week. I'm struggling to remember where I read it.
  17. That is for oil reserves not production. Just in case anyone gets confused with the millions/billions thing.
  18. I think they produce about 1.7 million barrels per day (currently at half that) with world production at 72(ish) million per day. I think I can see where you're going but it isn't as simple as that.
  19. Was that an E-Type in the background? Any chance of a walk around of that? Pretty please....
  20. By the end of my time with a Supra there was only one place locally that I would take it to. YVS Performance in Sherburn. Untidy workshop. They don't offer coffee or wi-fi but they do know their Toyotas, all their parts come via Fensport and, let's be honest here, their MR2 went down the strip at the first Suprapod faster than most of the Supras without breaking a sweat.
