I got one too.unfortunately I didn't see this thread so I foolishly opened itand clicked on the link too. Chrome opened another tab into google search which autofilled the search field with alfa romeo2 and a message which state that the link appearedto be broken. None of my anti virus popped up or anything but I haven't used my desktop since and won't until I'm back home and can see the results of my autoscan.

I'm just disappointed that no one posted a picture of Myleene in her undies or suchlike. As for "self defence", it's how you write it up that counts.

It does seem a tad harsh to receive a Sec 59 for misuse of the horn when a verbal warningcould have sufficed but two sides to a story and all that. You could complain by phoning and speakIng to the Duty Officer who should be objective and try and seek a resolution for you. However as pointed out,using a horn whilst stationary is an offence but having a sec59 hanging over you for 12 months is a bit ott and not quite what the legislation was intended for.

I would highly recommend this service. Especially for pedal cycles and mobile phones as the register is national. Every person arrested or stopped and accounted by Police has their mobile phone checked via it's IMEI. Every bike has it's frame number checked. The service is free and takes a few minutes to register and the information held is ONLY for the purposes of the register and is not shared with third parties.
