  1. That's tickled me that one has.

Bloody Hell Charlotte, that was hard going!
  3. That's as maybe, but you know and I know that the Procurator Fiscal would never run with it and it would be treated as a civil dispute. I would be looking for some money off the bill for wear and tear.
  4. I've not used the Falkens, so I couldn't comment on them. Goodyear Eafle F1 GSD3's are a good summer tyre. Excellent grip in the dry and good progressive grip upto the limit in the wet. No nasty snap oversteer, they let you know what they're upto. I wouldn't recommend them as a winter tyre however, they need heat in them to work well and I always felt like I was on tiptoes in them when the salt went down on the roads. I like the Toyos best having used them. Good dry grip, excellent wet weather performance and a better year round trye than the Goodyear.
  5. You were doing quite well up to the word "experianced". Fail.
  6. Jeez, you lose a mod or two and it all goes to rat shit!
  7. Rosie I could speak to a pal I know in the dog section. They have special boots they use when deployed in public order incidents to protect from glass. Find out their supplier?
  8. Happy Birthday Charlotte.
  9. It's like riding on a carpet of air. Plus you can lock out the sus at both ends for roadwork or climbs.
  10. Oh I couldn't live with a hardtail at all. I still love my Marin Attack Trail.
  11. Greg I'm very sorry to read this. You have my sympathy as I can remember all too clearly how my back injury last year put me into a spiral of despair. Not good. One important thing to realise, is depression is not just a state of mind, it's an illness in its own right. Being offered and accepting anti depressants shouldn't be seen as a sign of weakness, they're a drug to treat an illness, and properly managed should help you alot. Keeping a positive mind even when you feel all is lost is part of the battle. I hope that they find out what the problem is and get you on the road to recovery. All the best.
  12. It's different to mine. Mine looks like a car tyre valve. You'll need a low pressure shock pump with a built in pressure guage.
  13. Matt has been given a 24 hour holiday from the forum and hopefully he'll use this period to reflect and think about his future posting style. The moderators give up their own time to help run this club, and they will not tolerate name calling. I wouldn't in real life and I won't tolerate it here either.
  14. Matt, you can't let a car leave your garage in a dangerous condition because of the "what if" factor, I expect you've taken that one onboard already. What concerns me more is that Matt H shouldn't have driven his car on the road in a dangerous condition. Any reasonable person would know not to do so, but hey to go to a meet and show off my car even though it shouldn't legally be on the road and sod everyone else.
  15. Mine didn't. It was a single pipe from the cat back. It now resides on Mr Angry's car and was a Toyota option.
  16. 2.5" will be just the job for a bpu. Most decats are 2.5".
  17. Maybe a point worth making. What the hell has anyones sexual orientation go to do with the workplace? I have nothing against anyone of any sexual persuasion, what you do in private is your own business, but I hate it when they try and shove it down your throat.
