    Supra Snobs?

I'll still keep looking on here as it is a very informative forum and has great entertainment value. Verbal jousting on here is second to none at times. Good Luck Guys.

    Supra Snobs?

As my wife is 45 years old and never driven a car, I think it might take a while for her to pass her test. I'll slum it in the Impreza till then as I can't afford to run two cars just yet. Thanks to all. As Arnie said "I'll be back", but next time in a TT.

    Supra Snobs?

OK sorry guys . I'll take back the snobbery crack I made. It was just that I had over 50 views of my original "goodbye" thread with no replies. Maybe I do need a cuddle. God am I doing the right thing. Damn wives.

    Supra Snobs?

This imported Impreza has been over here for 5 years and has been sorted for fuel etc. Has uprated ECU already along with loads of extras and is putting down well over 300BHP.

    Supra Snobs?

Supes are great with loads of grip but I still think they are a bit tail happy in the wet. Supe is the more desirable car though and much better looking than the Impreaza.

    Supra Snobs?

Thought I could live with the 2 seats, made a mistake. I have 2 teenagers and my wife does not drive, she has nagged me as she does not think the Supe is suitable as an every-day car for us. I still love Supe's though and will probably get a TT when the kids have flown the nest.

    Supra Snobs?

I had an N/A , not a turbo, so I've gained a turbo, not lost one. The car I am getting has had about 6k spent on mods & upgrades and is in mint condition. Needed the extra space & 2 more seats, so a TT Supra was not possible. No need for the snobbery though, both are great cars in their own right and the Imp is excellent at taking the corners , also much quicker with more grip than my N/A Supra.
  9. At least I've said goodbye even if none of you are going to reply, do you not speak to Impreza owners. (Am I experiencing possible Supra snobbery already) Goodbye and thanks anyway.

    Supra Snobs?

Just done a deal to trade in my Supe for an Impreza STI. Supes are great cars and I've enjoyed every minute of my brief ownership. Just can't get away with having only 2 seats and not enough boot space. I'm getting the Impreza next Thursday, it's got loads of great mods and goes really well, cornering at speed here I come. It's been great conversing with you guys and you seem a great bunch. Goodbye and thanks, I'll always respect the Supra, it's a truly great car with looks and performance . Live long and prosper. 12. Somebody should report this guy to the R.S.P.C.S. (Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Supras).
  13. Probably got one of his 'Miami-vice' mates to bid the 15k in order to crank up the bidding.
  14. Can't believe someone's already bid 15k for it.
  15. Check out the Mitsubishi Legnum Estate, it's has a 2.5 litre engine, with twin turbos, it's an import and is the quickest estate I've ever driven.
  16. £340 fully comp for my 94 N/A - but then I am on old git (45 years old) with 8 yrs NCD. The Supra is actually cheaper to insure than the Audi A6 I had before

    n/a mpg

17mpg using Optimax from my N/A (mostly short journeys)
  18. 45 Years Old in August but my Supra makes me feel 20 again.

    ECU Re-map

Same question then but with relacement ECU instead of re-map

    ECU Re-map

My son had ECU done on his STI with good gains in BHP. Just wondered if it was worth doing on my N/A. PS.. I was fast asleep & the bloody window cleaner woke me up , so I decided to look on here.

    ECU Re-map

Anyone have any info on the costs of ECU re-mapping on N/A Supra & what power gains you could expect if you went down this route.
  22. I'm a man for all seasons, forever washing & rinsing it though.
  23. Here! Here! - What other car could you get that is sooooo good for the money, I've only had mine since Nov last year, but I love it loads, and it gets admiring glances from a lot people as you drive by. Looks, reliability and performance, what a combination.
