  1. Ah yes. You never forget your first love:grouphug:
  2. Cheers Mark. I'd love to have a crack at the MX5 club, I do get the odd referal from the forum so I know that I am quite competitive on them.
  3. No doesn't have to be Jap cars, we can insure most models. The only car I cam still not interested in is Scooby's.
  4. As some of you know I arrange the club insurance with Sky Insurance. I am trying to find some more car clubs to try arranging a similar affiliation to yours. Does anyone know any other well run car clubs that would be worth contacting ( a contact name would be really helpful). I would really like to have a Skyline club on board, if possible, but I have contacted gt-r register a couple of times but no reply. Thanks guys Jae
  5. In answer: A) You need to disclose to your insurer who the registered owner/ keeper of the car is. Some insurance companies will not insure you if you are not the owner of the vehicle. Depends on their policy wording B) You must avoid dual indemnity- easiest way is to add yourself to the other persons policy.
  6. das kleine krokodil schnappi - pop jr its my daughters birthday party album. Heard this song once and got addicted to it, always cheers me up.
  7. Don't worry mate I've been on here 18 months and only just realised there was a forum.
  8. The driving other car extension says the policyholder may also drive with the consent of the owner thereof a motor car which does not belong to him/her and is not hire to him/her third party only cover. You do not get DOC automatically just because you have comp cover, and you do not have it excluded just because you are tpft. The cover you have has nothing to do with DOC. It is determined by your age (normally 25 plus) occupation and vehicle. There are exceptions to these rules so always check your certificate or with your broker before using the DOC extention. I have spoken to plently of people with IN10 convictions, who drove another car because they thought they had DOC because they were comp but did not.
  9. you may be able to get the tax with a fax of the cover note. You are surposed to have the origianl but loads of people get their tax with a copy. I have even faxed cover notes straight to a post office before and they have used that. J
  10. Anyone else bet on England when they were 7-1? Long way to go yet but that was a fantastic days cricket, just what we needed, Monty and Harmy taking wickets. All we need now is Freddy to get some runs and all our big guns are fireing.
  11. what? Checking club forums is a very important part of my job, plus I always have time to quote Pulp Fiction.
  12. I hate people who do things like that. As Vincent said in Pulp Fiction " I just wish I caught 'em doin' it, ya know? Oh man, I'd give anything to catch 'em doin' it. It'a been worth his doin' it, if I coulda just caught 'em, you know what I mean?"
  13. I like a bet and I looked this morning, England are 7-1 to win this test match. Frankly that is a joke England a certianly good enough to beat the Aussies. We may not win the seriers but we will win a test. Lets not forget for three days in the last test they looked a very average side. COME ON ENGLAND!
  14. TSOC the spirit of christmas Ray Charles
