I spoke to Future this morning and they have confirmed that the club has a stand booked for 25 cars and 25 passes. It was booked by Martin. So by the sounds of it there is a club stand at Japfest.

Why don't you call Sky and ask for a quote based on limited mileage. It sounds like you renewal has been invited on the same bases as last year.

I can speak to Future. I am one of the main sponsors of the event and if you guys want a stand I may be able to get them to make some room.

If you have an agreed value policies through us it will be on your policy schedule. You should also have a letter from us confirming that the valuation application has been received and the value has been agreed.

I am an authorised broker for Sabre and they do not do agreed value policies as far as I know. Just becuase they have written £10K next to your vehicle discription it does not mean they will pay that much in the event of a total loss claim. If you are unsure then ring them up and ask them what they would offer you in the event of a claim. Jae

I don't know of any Supras i've lost off the top of my head but we have had a few FTO's go recently with agreed values.

I do visit the forum often, to check competitors, answers members questions, join in conversations that interest me and post top ten scores on Yeti Pentathlon. Of courses I am on here to make money, isn't every authorised trader. This is my job and best way I can do it is to try and keep my customers as happy as I can. I think if your honest SupraAyf your only problem with Sky is we could not offer you a better price. I do not have a magic wand that I can wave at peoples premiums and cut them in half. If I could I would. I have underwriting rules I have follow. If you want me to look at your policy to see if there is something we missed that could reduce your premium then just contact me and I will try my best. Jae

Bingo!!!! Pretty much spot on. Sorry for the late response guys. I wish you wouldn't have these conversations on a weekend when I am off smashing people up on the rugby field. Basically once the "agreed value" endorsement has been placed on your policy it replaces the market value. Regardless of blame, if your vehicle is a total loss and you have an agreed value you will be paid out the agreed value. The insurer will then recover there losses from the TPI. I wasn't aware that Adrian Flux were doing agree value policies for Supra's, if they do then I need to get our rates looked at. Did you tell us that you do less than 2000 miles pa, because £1000 does seem rather high for a limited mielage policy?

There is a discount for club members. It is applied automatically as soon as the call handler puts in MkIV club as the source for the call, we then ask for written proof once the policy is incepted. We do not send out a cost breakdown with the policy documents. I have changed or written quote letter to show the price without the club discount. Jae
