for sale 1994 Toyota Supra TT RZ Import Manual
mike_mcevoy replied to mike_mcevoy's topic in Supra Classifieds
Hi all, thank for all the interest in my car, as you have mostly pointed out it is too cheap but I'm more thank happy for it to go for this price as i have the dreaded house purchase and need the top up to the deposit in fact it is now provisionally sold, if this falls through I'll get this back up as I'm amazed on how the the supra scene has taken off again for the benefit of everyone Mike -
Well after much harassment I have been persuaded to sell my 1994 Toyota Supra RZ Twin Turbo Import. The basic history of this car is that I bought this in 2005 direct from Japan and imported this privately (all documents provided). The car was mainly used as a weekend car, the occasional trackday and used at the Manx Classic Hillclimbs. After we started to get back into rallying this unfortunately took a back seat and was put into storage and only has been used occasionally since then. Considering it hasn’t really moved much in the last four years it start first time very easily from cold. I have had to just replace the alternator as well as the battery, as they didn’t like being stored and this now gives out a solid 14Volt charging. The basic spec is below that I can remember, I’ve done a number of performance tweaks bit nothing over the top, I had bought a HKS single turbo upgrade for this but plans went out the window, it’s currently at BPU-ish level but safely. One thing I’m still really impressed with is the exhaust. Not overly loud so keeps the neighbours happy but has a good note when giving it some, plus as it stainless I haven’t directly cleaned or polished this but 5 years later it is still shiny, go figure? Two main bad points I can list are it is not Insured or Taxed due to being stored and secondly it has not liked the Manx winters, I think, as the Lacquer across the roof and bonnet have gone a little hazy (more noticeable in bright sunlight, when it happens) but may be recoverable with a good valet or if you are going to change to colour not really an issue! It wont be available for another week or so as I’m in the middle of some work exams but If you want any more details or would like to see this, please PM me. This car is currently based in the Isle of Man so would need to come over to view it but can go to either Heysham Port or Liverpool to drop this off. Looking for around the £8000 mark but open to negotiation. I have included a collection of photos but if you want any more please let me know. that's crap mate, had someone recently try to pull off my front Toyota badge ( God knows why) -
fook me that's a lot, I just renewed by in october and for the year it was only about £250 for a TT. I know you are younger than me but thats a lot to fork out a year
-
With a lot of Skill... but really it not as much as a problem as it looks, once the oil is warm you give it change to drain most of it back to the engine so when you unscrew it there may be a small dribble but I generally have a lot of paper towels just under the filter to catch them. I'd much rather have that than struggle with the original position.

whoo that mine , and yes I think I worked it out ok although i have tidied up the hoses since that picture. I've never had a fuel smell in my car and it doesnt have any vacuum issues in the tank.

Yep good couple of days, great weather for both the Saturday and sunday although getting a bit warm for my driving arm Some incar shots from when I finally got the camera working....http://www.youtube.com/user/michaelmcevoy -
what is the clutch fluid level like. I was starting to heat the Clutch fluid up quite a bit on the first day but I found the pedal starting to stiffen up rather than slacken off?
-
as far as I know there is only one type, the relay pin outs are fairly universal but if you take out your current one and see if it has a three or a four pin out ( Forth is for the hazzard flasher)
-
Or you could just get the correct Relay for an LED and not faff around with resisters http://www.autoelectricsupplies.co.uk/product/726 I used one of these when we converted the Rally car to LED's. they're not cheap but there is also no moving parts to go wrong.
-
Ikaya arent Aluminium infact they are a little heavier that oem
-
Anyone catch the 125 race, another corker and what a tit Simon was....
-
very weird
-
just get in there with your Supra and stick it in the production class, that way no need to cage it.
-
Has been for quite a few years, its basically for the entire 2 weeks, it would be great fun if it wasnt for all these bloody bikes
-
wasn't there a problem with GT Cars awhile back?
-
I know its a pain, I have alone too for that purpose and it bloody didn't work so apart from the Tacho and earth it was pointless me getting one
