  1. Michael - not wanting to seem unhelpful, but the plates are only worth what someone wants to pay. D8UEY - is of great interest to the Registration Dealers as it is DaVEY. A personal favourite. TRD 904 - that speaks for itself, I think you will find TRD 900 for £2995 via NewReg, they are also representing mine by mistake. 436 GVT - is a nice bhp plate for someone with GVT as their initials and they will get a free Jag XJ6 in the deal. It is also a bit unique as a dateless registration. D4V GT - will most likley be sold within the Porsche Post for a GT2 and GT3 driver called Dave. But I wanted to offer it first here. I guess there are a lot of plates on ebay if you just wanted to mask the age of your car, that is where i bought the OIL plate from, otherwise I check my PM's daily.
  2. geeza - what plate are you selling ?
  3. D4V GT - on a retention certificate D8UEY - on a retention certificate 436 GVT - on an MOT Jaguar D2 TRA - on retention certificate OIL 2437 - on my bike, but available for the right price TRD 904 - on my car, but available for the right price All are open to sensible PM'd offers as they need to find a new home.
  4. Seeing those pictures of the 260Z makes me almost consider a u-turn and keep it old skool. I am currently building one of these http://www.ferrari250gto.co.uk based on a 240Z with 2.8 tunned lump, wire wheels and all ! I have been preparing the car for the last 9 months, now ready for the serious bit, fitting the GTO replica panels.

  6. Thats for your comments, I am now led to belive that splitting the wheels, blasting and then priming before a chrome or powder coat is applied is a high risk/expensive affair. The thought now is to have the wheels blasted intact, being careful to not harm the structure of the bolts, then have the rims sorted before having either the rims chromed/powder coated. LIAM - looks like a conversation is due with you mate to see what magic you can work OR Does anyone wants some 9x18 and 10x18 (UK / JDM Brake Clearance Compatible) Veilside Andrew Racing Alloys in 70% condition ? It's worthwile stating that I am a perfectonist (like others) and these are perfectly usable with only a light kerbing marks and patches of oxidisation/flaking on the spokes.
  7. Has anyone used these guys for refurbishing Split Rims Wheels ? Did they do a good job ? I'm struggling to find a company who will take apart, chrome the rim and powder coat the rest, without them caveating any work with, IT COULD all go pear shaped, so it's up to you mr. customer ! Fancy setting up a wheel shop anyone - seem's there's a demand for a quality service and few companies ready to offer it. My recently aquired Veilsides need sorting. Christian - I could find Volks Speed on the Web or Yell , do you have a number ?
  8. OK ........... who have you guys used to do your standard one piece wheels that I can speak with ?
