Hi Chris Thanks for pulling over and saying hi. Your car looked and sounded awesome prowling Chiswick High Street, the supra's got so much road pressence Did you pass through the high street half an hour after? thought i heard you go by again from inside the resteraunt!

    Help

Is your car an auto? if so, i didn't think you could use the Launch Control function with an auto?
  4. i soldered mine with offeset joins and then used petrol resistant heat shrink i purchased from Chris to insulate it. I wouldn't do it any other way!
  5. I removed the filler cap but the banjo bolt still ended up spraying me with fuel (did it just over a month ago)
  6. not if ones just going into the engine bay!
  7. Nah it fine really, just use the advise above. Also be warned, removing the banjo bolt isn't always straigh forward as the whole unit can start to turn when you try to undo it. Cant remember how i got around this, anyone got any suggestions?
  8. Also Matt, i found it better to use a small block of wood against the pastic grove ring & hit that rather than a large screw driver as it causes less damage to the plastic ring if its tight.
  9. found the manual on APEXi's website. These switches just set the engine and intake type by the looks of it page 10 shows the supra settings. http://www.apexi-usa.com/pdfInstallation/4.pdf
  10. Ok, heres a pic of the switches. not a clue what they mean though? http://www.laserlines.com/supra/afc2.jpg
  11. ill pull the AFC out later and see what the rear switches are set to.
  12. lol tell me about it, they didn't make the fibreglass very thick did they! When my car was imported the MOT station cracked it when it came off the ramp which they paid for to get repaired which was lucky to be honest. Ive now cracked it just under the driverside indicator thanks to a harsh speed hump Ive had my HKS suspension jacked up at the front now so off to the bodyshop for another repair!
  13. Yea its a zeek and it came with the car when i imported it. Haven't seen anyothers for sale anywhere. Lets keep them for ourselves!
  14. Lol yea sorry mate, snap! Make that 2 in the country! http://www.laserlines.com/supra/jae.jpg
  15. not sure, think it was 14 something, Terry?
  16. Cheers Terry i couldn't remeber the exact figure it was at.
  17. Ok here's pics showing the settings on my old SAFC. Apparently there are dip switches on the back which can amplify the settings by 30%? ive not pulled the AFC out yet to see what they're set to. These setting were set by Whifbits at the begining of the month except for the idle which was at 7 o'clock as Terry adjusted that at bovingdon because it was reading far to lean on his guage. http://www.laserlines.com/supra/afc.jpg and heres a pic of one of my fuel injectors. http://www.laserlines.com/supra/injector.jpg

    egr mod

is this a worthwhile mod to do?
  19. Yea i will be, found out saturday that i was only running 1.1 at bovingdon etc as my boost gauge is over reading! So it now runs quicker than it did at Bovingdon
  20. I'll go out and take a picture now. But appart from that my AFR's are OK? Edit: ill have to take a picture later as i've just looked outside and its chucking it down!
  21. Thats what i cant work out? if they are 850cc? they're red, thats all i know how do the AFR's look Ian? i haven't got a clue what im looking at!
  22. Other the obvious of the HKS airfilters, ARC intercooler & bigger injectors i dont know what else its had done engine wise. Ill try and dig out the Kansai Service Invoices to see if they shed anymore light. http://www.laserlines.com/supra2/engine.jpg
  23. cheers jake. not sure if the turbos are standard or hybrids which was why we did the last run on a slighty higher boost to see if it made any more power or remained the same. Its only using an old SAFC at the moment but it did have an FCON V fitted which i had removed for the moment as it was running very rich. My injectors are red & Terry seemed to think they were Blitz 850's? In Japan the car was worked on by Kansai Service? i think ive got a couple of invoices from them at home, i might try and get them translated.
  24. These are at the wheel figures, not fly wheel figures!
