PM'd more specs. 95 TT J-Spec Auto, 29,000 miles, runs upto 1.25 bar. uprgraded injectors (not sure how big), ARC FMIC, twin HKS filter setup, walbro pump, double decat. 334.8RWHP at surrey rolling road a couple of months ago. http://www.laserlines.com/supra/power/power.jpg
  8. Phillips blue vision aren't much different from standard to be honest. If you want to match your HID's well id only recommend PIAA bulbs, extreme force versions are good, also get they're white LED sidelight bulbs too. They're not cheap but you get what you pay for.
  9. you were in the rear view mirror of my Supra with it's little standard tubbies at Bovingdon!
  10. My mates organised a stag do for his brother in Bristol this weekend. Just thought id ask if anyone from around those parts have anywhere in particular they would recommend going in the evening. Most of the clubs i've spoken to don't allow stag groups in! Our theme for saturday night is "pimp". (my dad always said my supra was a pimp car! ) Here's my outfit http://images.joke.co.uk/images/products/large/cc00839-lge.jpg
  11. I've also heard bad things about the Optima batteries but had a yellow top and red top on my FTO for 3 years without a single problem and a couple of mates have also had them for some time with no problems? The red top is a very strong battery and holds charge very well, even if its been sat for a couple of weeks in the cold! Ive got a fairly standard looking battery in the supra at the moment but if that ever fails, ill be buying a red top to replace it.
  12. or your lights on in the boot!
  13. lol what did you think they were for then?
  14. thanks Merckxx, ill try a socket on an electric screwdriver later.
  15. My J-Spec has standard plastic clusters (which are in a very good, non yelow condition) but has had a HID kit fitted when in Japan. They give a very nice bright light but unfortunately are pointing far to high and i keep getting flashed by other drivers. Ive searched and found a post regarding what adjusters do what. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=39161&highlight=adjusting+headlights http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=33105&highlight=adjusting+headlights I parked my car facing a wall at turned the adjustment rods but non of them seem to do anything when ? Can anyone confirm for definate that the inside adjuster is for the height and which direction does it need rotating to lower the beam?
  16. no probs, just a thought but if you're after a very easy (virtually drops straight in) there is a non turbo version of the 2.5 litre V6 which is basically just a bored out version of the 2 litre mivec engine. This wont be much more powerful than the standard 2 litre (about 30bhp more) but its got a fair bit more torque. Anyway hope, all goes well whatever route you take. If you need anyones numbers or want me to get a mate to post up a question up on the FTOOC for you, let me know
  17. The evo engine actually looks quite small sat in the FTO engine bay compared to the original V6 so room isn't real an issue. I think the main problems Mark had when he did his was matching the gearbox and clutch etc. At least with the VRV lump you still get the lovely V6 Mivec howl
  18. Sorry to hear about the engine Sabrina An evo engine conversion like Marks, will end up costing you near £10K The easiest engine to use (and it still needs a fair bit of work) is the 2.5 litre V6 twin turbo lump out of the VR4! Richard Batty's VR4 powered FTO is an absolute monster, i think he ran at TOTB this year? To be honest though, you would be better off saving your money a buying a car that was built to take the power as you've still got to put the power down through the front wheels. Speak to Mark at EuroSpec or Giles at Japco for the cheapest option of a new GPX engine. Hope you get it all sorted soon.
  19. If you haven't already, you'll also want a boost gauge before fitting the decat pipes or doing anything else that will effect boost levels. This way you can always be sure that boost remains at safe levels (not over 1.2bar)
  20. Yea true but its only 2 minutes away from where i work (chesham) so its on my way. Might have to check the prices at the shell garage on the Cowley Road to see if they'er any better. Off round a mates now for a session of GT4 & larger. Ill see if i can keep my revs below 2500K the whole way there Have a good night all.
  21. Shell garage in Amersham. Thought it was strange that there was no price on the pump until it cleared and started to pump petrol! I had to look twice when i saw 100.9 displayed!
  22. Just put 49.5 litres in the car for £50 at my local Shell at over £1 a litre FFS! how much more can the price go up before we see a back-lash?
  23. To be honest i reckon it would only be worth between £150-£200 max. The subs only got a 120watt RMS handling, unfortunately audio gear isn't worth much 2nd hand, check ebay.

maybe chris has been watching too much NightRider
  25. or you could turbo charge this! Mint car and he'll probably drop to £10k-£10.5K! http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=45465
