Oh right, well i've got to bleed them again anyway as i've got air in there and as a result i've a spongy pedal

must be air in the system then as i've not fitted pads or discs, it'll have to wait until later in the week though.

Just about to bleed now, do you have to have the engine running to bleed the brakes ?

I've fitted 3 hoses, going to do the other in a minute and then bleed the system! When I started to get the first flare nut off I thought, " What have I started ? " it would not budge ! but then got my trusty old mole grips out Mark

bit of a daft question but....... if I take off the old brakes hose's to replace with the Goodrich hose's won't all the fluid pour out ? And i'd definatly need to bleed each of the brakes too ? Cheers Mark

I rekon hw could mate, but it's probably to much than I can afford right now -
As the title says really, i'm going bpu very soon and can't afford a CW smicjust yet, I want to keep my Active Spoiler. So if anyone has a standard smic in very good condition with no flakey fins or holes please give a shout. Cheers Mark
