That was really poor editing by the BBC- the £35k included buying the car. Has a Tuscan Racer engine and was being fitted with a superchager. 7 cars are a total loss, many more have some degree of damage and all cars in or near the workshop will need full retrims due to smoke damage.

The auto may be faster to 100 or there abouts, but 4 speeds vs 6 really does knock the wind out of the autos above 130 when they change into top, which is a really long gear.

I don't see how anything that isn't a pre 1990 Italian or French POS could lose 15% of it's power unless something fundamental has broken.

Interesting: 172.2mph and 26.94 for a standard 996 GT2. That really does make every one of it's 450bhp count doesn't it.

Do you know how much of the original shell & panels were kept? Do Pro Street cars have to use OEM windscreens?

NOT a criticism but a question: At what point does it cease to be a Supra? It's tubbed at the back, tubular space frame at the front. Does it retain the original floor pan? I'm assuming the only orginal parts are the head and block castings, roof pillars and lights?

The main discharge travels from ground to cloud. If you look on some pictures you will see 'leaders' going up to meat the decending bolt, from tree tops, buildings and sometimes people.

Independent rear suspension. Live axels are brilliant for launches. A lot of Audis on PH are tuned. An RS6 did 185 5 up once at brunters.

Oh- DMC's Shelby- it'll be close. The Audi I think you will beat, and obviously the Supes are evenly matched so it'll come down to the driver.
