  1. Lol. When you order this kit, can you video the conversation of your face and have it on speakerphone so we can see your jaw hit the desk when you're told it's £8000 plus vat and shipping.
  2. Trust have just gone bust so make sure you can get spares/parts before buying their gear.
  3. It shouldn't have come down to a PM to Dusty. Most of the supraforum mods are power tripping morons, the only one with a brain is Steve Theodore and some of the lower profile mods are also ok.
  4. I've heard loads. I was close to buying a 996 C2 in March this year, decided to wait another year before putting money into a purchase and glad I did, 996's are losing money hand over fist and I've seen one for sale in a dealers for £13k, so I'm sorry to sound like a snob but I do not want to own another chav cult classic. To be fair I don't think anyone saw that the Porsche bubble was going to burst, nor as explosive as it has. Perhaps a Corvette and an Alfa GTA instead for me...
  5. An interesting point. Matt, Marc & Jazz have made Supra owners look like halfwits with unreliable cars that have spent too long in the fancy dress shop, but trying to save the Supras credibility is a bit late, that ship has sailed. Nor should our forum mods have to check on our members on other forums- they are not the internet police, they are mkivsupra.net mods only and should only have to deal with twats members while on this forum. Ultimately people should be grown up enough to take care of themselves and not need a babysitter. While I find BarryBoys a loathsome site, perhaps they do us a favour by keeping people in check when they decide to buy a bloody nice car then proceed to disregard taste and completely fuck it up. Maybe it is a shame some people ignore them.
  6. There are the socially stunted film fans as well as car fans, and I'm sure every niche has a selection of muppets that only focus on the negative. Even if people do like a car on BB, it was still posted for kicking in the first place.
  7. A film critic doesn't slate every film they see, nor set up a site dedicated purely for negative reviews. Regarding elitism, no problem there.
  8. I'll ignore the second half as it's sarcastic nonsense. You know you don't like plastic fantastic shopping trolleys, I know I don't like certain films because who is starring in them, the difference is that people like you go to car shows or ust take a pic in the street of something you don't like then upload your material to a website full of like minded muppets so they can say "I don't like that", where as I, as a normal person didn't go to see a film I wouldn't like, nor do I read or post on IMDb about films I wouldn't or did not like. To keep it car related I do not like any Rovers or Austins, Mini excepted, now you might find this a really hard concept to get your head around but I do not take pictures of Meastros to laugh at on a forum.
  9. Did you really think "yep I'm happy with that" before pressing submit? Come on Rob, you appear to be an intelligent chap, think a bit harder and have another go.
  10. Rio Tinto are desperate for dump truck drivers, £55kpa, 36 hour week plus relocation help/aid to Australia.
  11. Anyone notice it was in "Boring Stuff".
  12. Look it it another way, you don't go to a cinema to take a snap of a film you know you won't like then upload the image so you can tell your mates how shit that film was. Now you could argue that you've saved your mates a wasted journey but I am fairly certain what films I will hate, anything with Ben Stiller, Jack Black or that other prick Will Ferrell in it will make me want to slit my wrists, so strangley I wouldn't use a site that consisted of ripping the three of them to pieces.
  13. Sounds like the automotive equivalent of the Ramblers Association.
  14. You would have to be utterly bonkers to insure a TRD as a kitted Supra, you would have to really fight to get a fraction of the cars worth back in a total loss, and what would concern me is who would/could repair one of those panels? I would atleast want it going to TTE in Germany.
  15. The BB OP doesn't know much then. "Viper Stripes" are actually Shelby stripes from the early sixties Cobra when Carroll put a Ford V8 into a British AC Ace. I know it's petty but if you are going to rip into someone...
  16. No, it's bollocks. Hamilton was AVOIDING Kimi because he hit the brakes 400 feet earlier than the normal, if there was a wall he would have the choice of hitting the Ferrari or the wall through Kimi's actions (would Kimi be given a stop-go for causing an avoidable accident like Kovi? probably not) Charlie Whiting himself has said the stewards were wrong.
  17. Analysis of the incident: http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=TzKMyFCaZy0 Shall we talk about Kimi overtaking on a yellow afterwards? Do excuse my duff typing on this thread, keyboard is wearing out.
  18. Did you actually watch the race? KR hit the brakes way way earlier than LH, he nearly went into the back of him. You will also notice out of every corner LH had far more traction than KR who wheelspan like JamieP on a free set of tyres out of the chicane, desite being on the far gripier racing line, and you seem t forget that LH still done him on the brakes into La Source despite KR illegaly blocking and hitting the Mclaren up the arse. Oh, and how did Kimi get to being in first place anyway? He was 4th on the grid, went wide at La Source and used the run off to gun it past the slower people who took the corner properly- why didn't he get a drive through for that eh?
  19. Watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70rXr2Mkq_M LH was brake tested and had nowhere to go.
  20. Heads up: http://pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=581283&nmt=Petition%20against%20Hamiltons%20penalty!
  21. Ah- I was just wondering if this was another soggy cornfake experiment or if the results were to be used to further technology.
  22. Mclaren released telemetary that shows LH was 6kph slower over the start line- so where is the advantage?
